I walked into Star Auto Care asking questions about my Chevy Tahoe. The mechanic sabin took really good care of me. He treated my Chevy Tahoe like it was his own. Very knowledgeable and professional when it came to working on my vehicle . I rate this place of five star plus plus because of how they treated me and took care of my problems with my vehicle. I would recommend this place to any of my family or close friends they do great work the owner Don is very reasonable on his prices. These guys are awesome! The first time I brought my truck in I got EFI live and the tunes were great, everything that was expected. Later on down the line I got my headstuds, headgaskets, FPR, EGR delete, and a bigger set of 5 tunes and man did they give me a smokin' deal! They also got it done in a very timely fashion and haven't had one problem since. I also got my stage 4 allison built here and they run a crazy cheap special of 3850 out the door (it only took them 2 days also!) My truck is so smooth now and at the same time has power that is consistent. No BS here with any of my service or the quality of the work done. Pretty soon I am looking forward to them putting a lift pump in and turning my duramax into a 12 second truck! I will always call these guys for parts and service and I would recommend any one to them. They are very confident in their word and take alot of pride in everything they do. I really can't thank these guys enough for what they have done for me!

I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel. I was in Vegas for Bowl EXPO 2013 and a certification from IBPSIA. After my third day there the AC in my Jeep stopped working. I checked the compressor and it was engaging but no AC. In June Vegas is very hot. I drove down from the Seattle area so the difference was incredible. I checked with the local dealerships and just to perform an evaluation was going to be between $75 and $125 depending upon which dealership I spoke with. And I was told the repair could exceed $1800 on the high side. I did a search through Yelp and found Paul's. I called and spoke to the John's assistant. I spoke to John and he said an evaluation would be $20. Since the car is out of the extended warranty so going to Paul's seemed like a good alternative. They have extremely high marks from all the web site reporting sites so I felt safe in my decision. Within a few hours after taking the car there I had the news about the necessary fix. Just to be on the safe side they recharged the AC and the system was working fine. However, the condenser was leaking and would most likely fail within a short time. I ask how much it would cost and how long it would take. They estimated a cost of $700 and would have it ready the next day. Well the total cost came to $698 and it was ready by 10AM the next day! John showed me the faulty part. I've very rarely gone to a repair shop with that kind of integrity. As an out-of-towner I figured my wallet was fair game. With Paul's I could not have been more wrong. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul's Automotive Repair to anyone! In fact I'm thinking of making a pilgrimage to Vegas just to have them service my Jeep!

My 2002 Nissan quest runs better than when I first bought it 4 years ago, after being repaired at Master Automotive. I liked the fact that John quoted a final, price prior to my repairs, this shows that he has confidence in the abilities of his mechanics to get the job done right and that all problems were diagnosed and there will be no unnecessary added costs later. It wasn't my week-or two. Was home alone with my kids and had heard a hissing the night before and woke up Sunday and just went about household chores then was set to go out at 4:45 and my tire was as flat as can be. I have StateFarm so I called them and they had two places they wanted to tow me to and I said no as both were like 1.9 star rated online, I found this number and they told me if I chose this I'd have to pay for towing (completely wrong point was he comes to me). So I hung up called him was a bit cautious at first as I saw no reviews but I let him come out-he made it in 2 hours. He found the culprit of my flat and did a permanent fix. THIS IS THE BEST SHOP IN LAS VEGAS. I HAVE A CLASIC 1989 MERCEDES 560SL AND JOHN IS THE ONLY PERSON I TRUST TO MAINTAIN AND FIX ANY PROBLEMS I HAVE ON MY CAR. ON MY HUMMER HE HAS REPLACED MY RIGHT MOTOR MOUNT AND ANYTIME I BRING ONE OF MY VEHICLES INTO HIS SHOP HE ALWAYS INSPECTS MY CARS FOR ME.

Went there to diagnose an engine that was stalling, which they said needed a transmission rebuild. I left it for repairs. When picking it up I asked to see the broken transmission parts and they said they "couldn’t find them." Within 20 minutes of leaving the shop the vehicle started stalling out again and it had more problems that weren't happening when I dropped it off. Called them and they said it must be "something else" and to bring it back so they could fix it under warranty. I took it back so they could "make it right" as they put it. I was told it was ready and to pick it up at a specific time and day. When I showed up, they weren't open, no one was there and no one answered the phone. Eventually I got it back and it stalled yet again. Took it to another shop and they found a cut engine ground wire within an hour of dropping it off. So much for a transmission problem... A week later I found an unauthorized charge on my credit card from them for services not rendered. Within 2 weeks I found faulty transmission parts on the vehicle that were not from the manufacturer, which is strange considering I've never had any work done on or near the transmission and I bought it new. At this point I am finding sabotaged parts on the vehicle, which is funny considering the Chevy Shop kept trying to buy the vehicle and were extremely upset when I declined. I wonder if they sabotaged the vehicle in hopes of me getting frustrated so I would sell it to them dirt cheap? Avoid this dishonest place at all cost!!

Spoke with Dianna several times to schedule an appointment to get my inside carpet cleaned. Set 2 schedule appointments with mobile command detail and both times a no show!!! A courtesy call was not made to apologize for the no show and instead of calling back for the second mishap a text was sent instead with an excuse. I would stay far away from mobile command detail if you want your time to be wasted and unappreciated. They are unprofessional, unorganized and lack common decency.

they replaced carrier bearing and transmission seal and a year later both had to be replaced on the road. they would not respond. I would never go there again.
