The owner is the most honest mechanic I have ever been to. As a woman, I have been ripped off so many times, but I have been to this shop several times and the owner told me exactly what I needed. There were times he actually said that it was just minor problem (when I thought that it was major). He could have told me anything and I would not have known the difference. His oil changes are inexpensive compared to other shops and they are very accomodating with their time. I would highly recommend this shop.

Having car fixed there was the biggest mistake I ve ever made! Charged WAY MORE than what the bill should have been for the repairs done. Double the labor price and 4x the amount for the parts installed, than other shops would have charged. Too bad I found this out after the fact!! Look up the reviews on this place on the internet and you ll see exactly what I m talking about!! Don t just take my word for it!! ANYPLACE is a better option than rocky point meineke!!! Charged over $1000.00 for what should have been $400 MAX elsewhere!! Live and learn, NEVER AGAIN!!! If I could have given a negative 10 number for a review, it still wouldn t be low enough!! Do yourself a big favor and pass this place by! If you broke down in front of it and had your car TOWED someplace else, your bill will still be cheaper!!!

Stay Away!!! I had the misfortune of taking my car to this repair station when my brakes locked and received an outrageous "all or nothing" estimate of $3,700 for the repair. When I elected to pick up the car without having the work done, I was told that I was being charged for the estimate (NOTE: the agreement I signed upon dropping off the car reiterated the problem I cited with no indication of a charge for the estimate). After protesting the estimate charge and attempting to leave, the station manager, Anthony Baker, grabbed my left windshield wiper and attempted to rip it off my car. He then called the police, who threatened me with a charge of petty larceny for non-payment. Needless to say, both Sag Harbor Getty (owned by Georgica Services, Ltd) and the Sag Harbor Village Police should be taken to task for this collusion and extortion. As for the brake problem, go to Meinecke: they are efficient, affordable ($1,047), offer a menu of repair options, and do not charge for estimates.

The worst! They kept my car for thirteen weeks to do a five-six hour job and charged $400 more then the dealer quoted. "Doc" Reid barked like a junkyard dog when I stopped by to ask when he would be done. Stay away.
