As an individual with good mechanical knowledge as well as a car enthusiast my experience with Marc and Elite Auto Specialty has always been very satisfactory and pleasant. He has serviced and repaired 3 of my cars. For my review to be helpful to a potential customer I should cover all the important details I look for in a mechanic.

Another set of jobs on our trucks... We have some VIP cars and big rigs for pulling production and set trailers. Tommy just did our NYS DOT Heavy Inspections, changed a few marker lights, and on the road again. This is as turn-key as turn-key gets. McGuckian Motors in Halesite, NY is run by talented mechanics who are also wonderfully kind people. I just returned from there a short while ago after having dropped off my car to have the oil changed and brakes fixed yesterday afternoon. Not only do they ALWAYS find room for me whenever I need them (I had only called the day before), their assistance extends beyond what they offer AT their shop. Today I headed out from the shop with new brakes and fresh oil to stop at a store across town. When I came out, my car would not start -- there was a clicking sound indicating battery problems. I called and in just a short while one of the mechanics had come to my rescue with equipment to get it started, then he had me follow him back to the shop and ordered another battery on the spot. I was set to go in about a half an hour. On another occasion I had stopped in with one of my alert lights going off, reading a problem with the tire; they tended to me right away and fixed it with hardly a wait. They are always friendly and pleasant, even dropping me off at my home when I have had to leave my car and returning to pick me up when the work has been completed. They have created community in their mechanical oasis. It is not just a place that has high standards for their technical profession; it has high standards for their personal dealings with their clients, making it a place of neighborly friendliness with clearly trustworthy and pleasant people. I am so lucky to have found such a place to take my car and it is a great comfort to know I can rest easy with my car in their hands. I cannot recommend McGuckian Motors more highly!
