I have been a customer of Dawson Motors for about 5 years and they have never disappointed me. But just recently they far exceeded my expectations! My work vehicle had broken down for the last time and it was time to replace it. Without my vehicle, I was totally at a standstill with my construction business. My van was towed into Dawson Motors at 8:45 am on a Saturday. I explained to Bill Dawson that I needed a reliable used van. By chance, he had one on his lot and I asked Bill to give me best deal, that without a vehicle I could not work. He got his wife Linda on the finance part, they made me an offer and I took the deal. My wife and I unloaded my old van of all the tools and supplies and headed home. At 2:30 the same Saturday afternoon Linda called me and said the van was ready for pick up! The Dawson's stayed late in order to get me my van knowing how important it was to my business. I could not have believed anyone would have done this, let alone our small town auto dealership. Not only do they have a highly qualified group of mechanics and a customer service oriented office staff, the owners walk the talk of helping customers way above expectations! MANY thanks! J. A. HEARD THE STORY ABOUT THIS GUY , SOLD THE WRONG WHEELS AND WAS TRYING TO FIND SOMEONE TO MACHINE THEM TO FIT . WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE DONE IS SOLD THE RIGHT WHEEL TO FIT THE CAR . AS FOR LANKS THE OLD MAN IS SHORT AND RUDE BUT JOSH AND HIS SON TREAT EVERYBODY FAIR AND ARE VERY FRENDLY. SO DON'T LISTEN TO RUBEN HES JUST A REAL BAD SALESMAN.

Performance is as good as it gets. Need a car, reasonable? Coby has choices for you. Need service? Johnny will get you back on the road quickly and very reasonably. Our family goes nowhere else when it comes to cars. Sounds like we're related. We are not. This place is bogus. My wife towed there by AAA. Told cost $20 to inspect her tire. After they then said needs to be replaced. She waited over 5 hours while they took in to bays cars that arrived after! When she asked when she might be out of there never an answer from service writer. The tecnition drops car off jack as sales woman and wife watched. Next day I contacted Firestone corporate. Very nice people.. In tern they said they wouuld have the manager ocntact me. Some dim wit named Joel very rude and combative.Called my wife a liar! Over past 60 years my family's trucking business has spent millions on Firestone truck tires. As of today not another dime!

• I will NEVER bring my vehicle there again nor will I recommend this shop. I had an accident on the 15th of Jan I did not get my car back till the 11th Of Feb. I do not usually drive on highways or distance with this vehicle. Woodcock was recommended by my insurance company. After paying $1000 dollars for repairs I drove my car home. I finally made a trip on a highway and noticed a strange noise and the vehicle felt weird. I went to my mechanic and he said my control arm and strut were bent. I called woodcock and explained the situation. The guy said NO we didn't take it for a ride on a highway, there isn't one nearby. All they did was drive it on the country road at 30 mph. I said are you going to be responsible for the problem. He said NO and it is very unfortunate ... My insurance Company is going to know about this and hopefully do something and Woodcock will see me in small claims court. stay away or if you have to have your car done due to an accident take it to your own mechanic right after they SAID they fixed it.

this service station is great. you will not get cheated here, and they really do quality work. been using them for years, and would not go elsewhere.

John and his team are the best there is! We would never go anywhere else. John is honest and trustworthy and cares about his customers. He always takes the time to explain to me whats going on with my car. He is kind and fair - a businessman with a huge heart!

I experienced problem with my exhaust system when out of town. When I returned late in the afternoon, I contacted North Road and they were able to get me right in and complete the repair quickly. Very experienced with common problems for my vehicle make. Great job.

Hello Everyone, I would like to share my repair experience with foreign auto repair service: Both Glenn & Lisa were consummate professionals during the entire process of troubleshooting my diesel Range Rover. They kept me abreast on the entire process, provided a thorough photo of all the work provided with photos of the work conducted allowed me to use their car while they repaired my car which is above and beyond generous. Glenn kept me posted through txt messages daily. They isolated the problem, worked with the warranty company on the repair cost ensured I understood what I was responsible for on the repair cost and returned my car back repaired. Thank you for the great service it’s appreciated. I will be back hopefully not to soon but when needed I will entrust you to work on my again in the future. Joe V. ??

Rich hands down does great body work and great attention to detail. Hands down honest shop not over priced and will walk you through process with the best results. Has to be one of the best auto body shops in my opinion in the poughkeepsie area if not the best.
