Auto repair service near Euclid, OH

I saw negative reviews of this place and thought they may just be isolated incidents. I should have gone with my gut feeling, that was mistake #1. I dropped my BMW 650 off on Wednesday evening for an appointment on Thursday morning. That was mistake #2. I stopped by later on Thursday to see what was going on with the diagnosis but my car was no where to be seen. After asking where it was and waiting about 10 minutes I was told it was parked out front, it wasn't, I looked. A few minutes later one of the "technicians" was pulling in with it. Ok, fine road test I get it. They say they can't find any coolant leaks and that it's not leaking, trust me, it's leaking. Ok fine, I pick the car up and notice they put 131 miles on it. I called Carey the owner and he didn't even deny it. He told me they drove it to Mentor for an "extensive road test" to see if it would leak. Are you kidding me? They were even dumb enough to leave a receipt in the car from Painesville which is a LONG way from Parma Heights. The funniest thing about this whole cluster is that the owner thinks or at least acts like this is completely normal. I said, "it's funny how a BMW dealer doesn't do this". He replied that he knew BMW techs that will road test a car to Columbus. Seriously? He's delusional. Well at any rate, they used my car to joyride and most likely never even looked at it. They said it's probably leaking from a loose expansion tank cap, if that were true it would be leaking from the top, not the bottom as it's and coolant would be down the tank and it's not. Funny how BMW found the problem in 30 minutes. Do yourself a favor and pay a few extra bucks and go to a reputable shop unless you want your car used like Ferris Buehlers Day Off. You've been sufficiently warned.

I have bought three cars at Carena Motors and am a satisfied customer. The staff are very customer oriented and want to make sure you are satisfied. The prices are good and if you can't find the exact car you want they will find it for you. I plan to go back in the Spring. I am still driving my first car I bought there a 1999 Miata. If they only had a 0 Stars!!! We are an equipment reseller and paid a deposit to Lapine of $7,000 to purchase 2 older dump trucks. Our buyer changed his mind and decided that he didn't want to purchase these 2 trucks after all. We requested a refund and Lapine Trucks refused to refund our money. The owner later agreed to allow us to apply the deposit to a different item. However, when we found a suitable item with a value close to $7,000, he reneged on his offer. The reason he gave was that he 'changed his mind'!!! In the end we Paid his company $7,000 and received NOTHING in RETURN. I call that STEALING but if nothing more it shows you that they'll take your money and give you nothing in return, if the opportunity presents itself and that's what they did to us. Is that the kind of company you want to do business with?

I called around to get a better price than the dealer gave me, talked to George and he was very courteous and tried to help me. I then took the car in to be checked . Again he helped me make the decision to use them.. The price was right and the workmanship was good. I will use them again and tell my friends about them. Theresa B

I inherited a vehicle and wanted to see if it was worth fixing. In a nutshell, they took a month to do the repairs, charged me 500$ over the estimate, and did not change the tires or oil as the quote stated. Then I immediately took it for a second opinion and they said the engine was shot. I totally wasted over 2500$ because this mechanic didnt take the time to properly diagnose the vehicle.

When I had my truck I took it in for a brake job, I come to find out they put on warped rotors and been having brake problems ever since as the whole truck shook, I mentioned it to them and they wanted more money to fix the same problem they were originally supposed to due to said vibrations it caused uneven wear on a tire and I ended up getting a flat and brake pads got uneven wear. A few months later my power steering goes out and they replaced the gaskets on the box, a few hours later i lost power steering again so I take it to a different garage and they asked if the previous garage took out the box and I said no and they said well they should have. And finally after that due to the vibrations it caused a tie rod to be knocked loose and brake. They refuse to reimburse any extra money spent because of them or re do any previous repairs.
