My wife was given a 2004 Lexus ES300 by her mother. It had sat for about year before my wife started driving it. Although the car was in great shape we soon learned that it needed a brak job. We took it to a dealership in Delaware, Ohio and were given an estimate of almost 1/2 the cars value. I decided to go online and look for another mechanic in the Delaware area. Boy was I glad I did. I read a bunch of reviews about James Church and his staff at Oxford Automotive and decided to contact him to discuss our issues. He was very careful to not badmouth the dealership I took the car to, which was clearly due to his Faith. He suggested I bring the car in and he would give us PT Crusier rental car for a set one time price that is equal to a daily price from rental agencies. Long story short, he was able to fix all of our issues and them some and still save us over $500 from what the dealership was quoting. He also made suggestions as to what might be needed in the future but never once pushed to have it done immediately. The entire staff we dealt with was so nice and proefssional which was quite refreshihng. This is one place that does business the old fashioned way and we were so appreciative of the honesty and quality of work. Thanks so much James, and also thank your staff for us!

BAD BUSINESS!!! 11 days ago I bought a 97 civic from Cedric...the car was disgusting and in terrible shape but he reassured me mechanically it was great and told me he would do an oil change and a bunch of other things so I left the car overnight after paying for it. Two days after I had been driving the car the check engine light came on and it started making really weird noises. A few days after that the oil light came on! I went to get it checked only to find out there wasn't a drop of oil in the car and the engine could've blown at any time! Mind you I stressed to him I needed something safe and reliable because I just had a baby! He wrote in the contract he did and oil change not only did he not do it he didn't even make sure there was oil in the car! I called left a message and heard nothing called again they said he wasn't in finally when I got ahold of him today he told me he would call me back and never did! This place is a scam! Now we're going to court but I would save yourself a headache this place has been sued a couple years back from the city of ohio for scamming people! He told me there was a new timing belt put on it the timing belt bolts are so rusted on there's no way they look like they've been on there forever!

This company Dave's Discount Tires hates people of color they steal from your vehicle they discriminate against the Disabled and the Elderly, cheat older people, do not let a older relative go to this company alone this company will cheat & lie about what the do or what they did. 2 years of a belt issue with power steering going out from first visit, replaced everything under hood associated with belts, thousands of dollars on daughter's car, 7 invoices with power steering being primary problem, new belts, water pump, alternator, battery, all power steering hoses, with the last thing replaced being the power steering pump! I guess after replacing everything else there wasn't much of a choice but the pump, that was the issue from first visit, through the remaining visits! Mangers refusing to accept any responsibility of making a bad decision.. I could go into much detail but given the forum I'm on I won't.. beware! Will try to pull every dollar possible from your wallet, they did cut one bill in half where the power steering HOSES were replaced. 20 year old daughter picked her car up, I was always the one interacting with manager, she was brought into the problem in front of customers with the manger attacking me and the amount of time he had to spend on the phone.. just a horrible experience from beginning to end, from water pump to power steering pump, btw they replaced the steering pump with a rebuilt one without my knowledge? Opened hood and bright orange sticker! In fairness I called the national customer center and the district manager, who I'd had conversations with in past, was instructed to refund the cost of the power steering pump, nothing else, curious? If the pump had been replaced to begin with, would all the other work been needed? Thousands of my daughters money been spent? But they refunded for the steering pump that was the primary problem to begin with.. I'll never return..
