I inherited a vehicle and wanted to see if it was worth fixing. In a nutshell, they took a month to do the repairs, charged me 500$ over the estimate, and did not change the tires or oil as the quote stated. Then I immediately took it for a second opinion and they said the engine was shot. I totally wasted over 2500$ because this mechanic didnt take the time to properly diagnose the vehicle.

The trouble shooting and eventual isolation of the problem was excellent. Now I know where to go to receive resolution of a part that's still under warranty at another facility.

We've been taking our cars to Swedish Solutions for years, and have always found helpful, and caring people who deservedly have earned our trust. Would recommend to anyone!

I called around to get a better price than the dealer gave me, talked to George and he was very courteous and tried to help me. I then took the car in to be checked . Go to Rad Air to get your car work done. 8 years, 4 cars, multiple tires, emergencies and routine maintenance are why I confidently say to just go to Rad Air in Fairlawn. I've auditioned the competition because a backup plan is always good to have, usually. Each time, I use a competitor, I'm reminded why this business is successful. Dave and his team are quick, honest and go beyond what I expected. They have the technology repair the machine and help explain what's wrong. The completion time estimates are very reliable. Cold February and no heat create driving problems. Another garage insisted on multiple visits and "attempts" to repair the problem. As each bill came due - the message was clear. I worked nearby and coworkers suggested Rad Air for a solution. In one try they permanently and affordably repaired the problem. From the heat in the car to the gearbox on the engine - brakes, oil, wiper blades and ..yes, the loaner cars, all needs are met. Depending on how close you work - you may get a lift back to work with your road test. Being a passenger in your own car can make the process easier. I've been towed in and limped in. Each time feeling the relief knowing the solution was near. When I broke down in Cleveland I was relieved to see the Garfield Hts location nearby. They do things THE SAME WAY! by Kevin 12/15/2011 Bad Attitude, Poor Service, and they almost killed me. 1. Bought 4 new tires. Not only did they put the wrong tires on, they tightened the lug nuts bolts too tight and 3 for the 5 snapped off the front right before I discovered the problem after just getting off the highway at speeds of 65 mph. They did repair the lug nuts bolts, but claims it was not their fault, that "someone else tightened them". No one had touched the tires after their work. 2. Bought another set of tires and had a front end alignment. Upon returning and complaining about the front end pulling to the left this taking one of their "tech" with me on a road test to show them what it was doing, they claimed it was "to the specks of the Chevy. One the next visit a week later. the "tech" claimed it was do to the crown in the road and not their work. It would pull to the left even when the road slanted higher to the left, not to mention he passed huge amount of gas in my truck , as a F--- You, before handing me my keys back to drive away. It still pulled to the left. I had to take it to the dealer to get it alined. When speaking to the owner, he claims their work is fine and that we should not do any more business. I said "Happy NOT to do business with a shop that I have had nothing but problems with".

Powertrain Automotive was established June 11, 2007. This family owned and operated repair facility is located at 28910 Euclid Avenue in Wickliffe, Ohio. After twenty three years in the same location, retiring owner Steve Combaj sold his repair facility known as Universal Mechanic to lead technician David Kozlowski. It was then that the name was changed and Powertrain Automotive was born. David is an ASE Certified Technician with over twenty years experience in the mechanical repair field. It took years of planning and a lot of hard work to make this automotive repair facility a reality. Better yet there is a lot more to come! Our biggest goals are turning out a quality repair job as well as customer satisfaction.
