We have used this mechanic shop a few times now. The mechanic is very honest and does great work. One vehicle we brought in, and he was unable to absolutely diagnose the problem or if the work he did would fix it, so he told us that straight up and discounted the charge for the diagnosis of the vehicle because he felt he had not properly served us. It was because of his honesty on that occasion that we returned to him.

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 dually diesel 5.9 cummings truck. Prior to visiting Jim & Son's I was quoted outrageous prices to repair my transmission at two other local shops. I called Jim & Son's and spoke to Wayne. He was very knowledgable and friendly. I scheduled an appointment. A week later I was returned my truck and my costs were $1500 LESS than the other two shops. They even picked me up!!!! Don't forget to ask about billet parts for you transmission too. This place is top notch! Thank you Jim and Sons North Canton.

This is about the one on beldon village I want to say thank you!!!!! I had an issue with an oil change I received. I spoke with the manager mike ( beldon village, north canton). He went so far above and beyond, to fix my issue. Due to his amazing customer service, they have a loyal life time customer. As a company you are incredibly fortunate to have a manager of his caliber as well as amazing customer service guidelines. Thank you!!!!!!

I took my car there to have it diagnosed. The car was startable and I drove it there they put a skin on it called me said it was ignition module wanted to charge me $500 I told them I would bring it home and fix it myself but when I went to get the car that night it wouldn't even fire and they charged me $110 to tell me it was ignition module which it wasn't that did not fix the problem when I put a new one on so they charged me $110 for nothing and cost me a total charge I would not recommend them to anybody

I was taken advantage of pretty bad here. I went for an oil change and to have my muffler looked at. They came back and said I had to replace my serpentine belt and I reluctantly agreed, but for some reason they loosened my tensioner bolt and left it loose, which resulted in it backing out, the tensioner pulley to shift out of place, and thus destroying the brand new serpentine belt. While driving home, I noticed a really loud squeaking. With the serpentine belt not working, my power steering fluid stopped pumping and the power steering went out while driving causing my car to loose control and to go off the road. When I had it towed to them to look at, I told them to just look at it but don't do anything without my authorization. After 30-60 mins after they looked at it, they brought me over to look at it and my tensioner was pushed back into place and the tensioner bolt was broken off inside of the engine block. They denied breaking it even though I had pictures of it not broken hour before. They told me it was not their fault and was Toyota's fault for not recalling a poor design. They said I would have to pay to have them fix it, which would involve un-mounting the engine and partially removing it to to be able to drill the bolt out. I told them to hold off on doing anything because I wanted to investigate their claim. I called and asked a friend of mine, who is a Toyota service mechanic with 22 years of experience, for his opinion and showed him all the pictures I took before they touched it the second time (without permission, might I add). He said the pictures proved definitively the problem was caused by mechanic error and he had never heard of any problems with the tensioner bolt like they claimed. I brought this Toyota mechanic with me to talk to the manager. The manager said he was currently too busy to talk and that we could wait. Annoying, but willing to wait, we stepped outside to wait and are chatting together for a few minuets when all the sudden 4 cop cars (yes 4) pull up all around us and asked for our ID's. THE MANAGER CALLED THE COPS ON US AND REFUSED TO TALK TO US. After the cops realized what was going on, they told us this was the 4th time this year Monro Muffler has done this to other customers. The cops said it was a very shady practice, but that Monro Muffler calls the cops on customers who have a complaint about the work they do, and the reason for this is the Monro has a policy that if the cops are called, they refused to talk to you or to allow you on the property. When I tried to call their corporate office, they just asked me "are you Mr. Miller?", and I said yes. I was told to never call back and hung up on. So now I am left with my tensioner assembly laying in pieces on the floor of my passenger side seat and looking at $400-$1000 cost to have it fixed and the people responsible for it are refusing to even talk to me. The cops encouraged me to pursue legal action against them because they don't want this kind of shady business practice in their town, but that their hands were tied and it was a matter for the court system.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS! Looked at a 2001 Toyota Celica that was in fair external condition but had NO OIL in it. They added 2 Quarts and it didn't even touch dipstick. Added nearly 4 quarts just so I could test drive. White smoke blew out of the exhaust which means bad head gasket. These guys are SHADY automotive. They acted clueless and when I explained what was wrong with car, they kept trying to sell on its in nice shape. Car needs engine. It's been driven with no oil and they're a mechanics shop. When I asked for their business card, they said they didn't have any. I wouldn't let these schmucks work on a battery operated golf cart and I certainly wouldn't buy ANY Vehicles from them.

Brian is a great guy who won't try to scare you into repairs you don't need, and will give you the best price in town. His service is great, he stays in touch with you every step of the way and will answer any questions or concerns you might have. He also worked with me so I could pay for the repairs - both cv joints and a ball joint. I highly recommend Brian's Automotive. I plan to go back many times over the next few months to get my 13 year old car in tip top order again! He absolutely has a new loyal customer in me!

My name is Torinzo Burns I came to these guys with nothing but a broken car. they treat you like you want to be treated, they will do the job and do it right. they don't try too rob you blind and they do quality work. Told pump seals needed replaced and some other seals. I requested a speedometer gear change since I had rear end gears put in. Transmission still leaks out of rear. I was given a sleeve to put in the yoke for me to install myself. No offer to fix it after I was charged $600.00. Futhermore after recently changing my transmission crossmember for a dual exhaust , I see no evidence that the transmission was ever removed. Pretty much impossible to fix pump seals without removing the transmission. Furthermore my speedometer quits working when it reaches a certain speed and is still off by 10 mph.I also see no evidence of the “speedometer adapter he supposedly installed.

This place is an absolute joke. After no car wash cuz it wouldn't work after 4 tries. Then all the employees 5 of them surrounded me to try being tough. I pulled away and they threw a rock at my car and told me to get my piece of shit off their property before they called the cops. What a joke of a business.
