Guys ,I would recommend you guys to sincerely spend money here . I’ve never met anyone who actually does such an amazing job with foreign cars until I went here. I’m a new foreign car owner and I take my car here . If you guys want things fixed correctly and done correctly GO HERE !!!!! Thank you guys so much foreign exchange !!!

Contracted with this yahoo to paint my rebuilt 1970 Chevelle. Was suppose to make it look like it came off the showroom floor. I dropped my car off at the end of June 2010. Asked him if he needed monies up front, he said no. Two weeks later he wanted monies so that he could pay his state taxes. (That should have been a red flag to me - but the guy claimed he was a Christian - Hog Wash!) Our agreement was for the car to be painted and done so I could finish the engine and interior installation in time for Mecum's Auction in Septemer of 2010. Needless to say, I had to cancel the show as he didn't have my car painted. Months, I tell you months went by with nothing done! - July, August, September, October - then-------- He promised the car would be done by Thanksgiving Day - well - here we go again! Not done again - except his time - he took my rebuilt car - painted it like it belonged in a demolition derby - you to it. Racing strips across the top, 70 painted on the doors, and the words "Painted by Myers Auto Body" on the back quarter panels. The really sad part - he was proud of his work! Can you imagine that - Proud! He even gave me pictures - he was so proud! Well - we were at it again. Everytime I made comments about how nothing was getting done. He'd laugh. He went as far as constantly sending his employees home because he didn't have funds to pay them. Strange I paid him! Of course Christmas and New's Years came and went. Any progress on my car - not no but heck no! On January 17th I picked my car up and took it elsewhere. $5000 and 6 months later I had nothing to show for it, except a car painted for the demolition Derby. My boyfriend went here to get his car worked on with my GPS in his car. He forgot to put it in the glove dept. so it was on the floor. After they worked on it the GPS disappeared. We filed a police report but no one fessed and the manager said we were liable. Companies are supposed to take care of their customers and we felt the exact opposite. We have not gotten reimbursed. Be careful of your things if you go here because if they happen to disappear they are not held liable.

Here is the story, my daughter lives two hours away from me (her DAD) I have been in business for 30 years but have been an auto and Harley Davidson mechanic and body man for 40 years. my daughter has been there when I worked on cars and motorcycles. Custom cars, Harley, race cars and just regular vehicles. I taught her a lot about what I do. She is very smart about a lot of things, but you try your hardest to make her look stupid. Yes her ABS light was on. when she said she pulled the fuse for the ABS you tried to tell her how unsafe it was and what made her think it was a good idea to do that. She tried to explain to you that when you are having trouble with the peddle either getting hard or going to far down on ABS, unplug it or pull the fuse, until you can get the censers fixed it will just be like a regular brake. You know they had regular cars and trucks back in the day, and I and my daughter know how to drive with out ABS.I know you were just trying to make more money, NOT COOL! Also you told her she had a tire out of balance. Now I want to know how you knew that if you did not drive it.? The only why to tell is to drive it to see if there is a shake, or put the wheel on the balancer. Or do you have some new tool I don"t know about.I don't do business that way I have always been honest with my customers and have never tried to sell them things they did not need or want, or make them feel dumb. She came in for a $21.95 oil change and paid 136.00. even with you balancing 4 tires that at most would be $10.00 a tire and one air filter does not come to $139.00 with a $59.00 discount off the labor. She will drive to my shop and I will do all the work on her truck. She will never be back there. If I had more time and money, I would put a shop over in Springfield and do it right. I am very ashamed to know there are still Mechanics out there that treat people the way your shop does.

After having my vehicle for two days S & J Auto repaired and charged me ($130 over the original quote) for an unrelated problem because as I was driving away from their shop the exact same issue persisted. I returned the very next day and within 5 minutes they said oh, it's this problem and wanted to charge me again for something else. When I tried to compromise by agreeing to pay for the part if they waived the labor, they refused. Not only is the quality of their work poor, so is their quality assurance and customer relations. (The reason one star was selected was because this site forced me to pick one.)
