I had a great experience with Wrench Inc! I was able to schedule my oil and filter change for the next day, and Brent was very punctual and professional. Communication through text message was super easy, and he also vacuumed out my car and cleaned all the windows. Additionally, he let me know that he didn't see any leaks or other concerns. Purchased a rebuilt engine for one of my company trucks. A month after the engine was installed we began having problems. Check engine light was coming on frequently. Turns out there was a part in the engine that had gone wrong. With diagnostics time, time to replace the part, and other related parts, the total for my repairs was $650.00. At the time, Portland Engine Rebuilders told me to go ahead and pay the bill and submit it to them and they'd "take care of me." From that point it was all down hill. Communication was poor. They wouldn't return my calls/emails. In the end, they only covered just over $200 of my repair costs. They have a lot of fine print that you don't realize is there until a warranty issue comes up. Basically, if anything is wrong with the engine after it's installed - YOU will be the one paying for most of the repair costs. Their warranty is full if things they won't cover and the consumer ends up taking the shaft. Take your money elsewhere!
