He found that lug nuts on one wheel were nearly off. This was something that Les Schwab couldn't find. Saved me from a bad accident. He did not charge anything for tightening them.

Our 16 year old daughter brought her Ford Escape in because the power steering went out. They realized it was just the hose. They treated her like any other customer and not as a child. 12_12_2011: NO STARS!!!!!! Worst place ever, do not take your vehicle there. Charged me 91 dollars to tell me my Transmission was whining (really I can hear that already) and that my oil needs to be changed (isn't that what my sticker from Jiffy lube says in my window) Then when I try reason with them they tell me there going to keep my vehicle until I pay and as soon as I pay the 91 bucks they told me to go F myself. Never will deal with this place ever ever again. Please for the love of God do not take your car there, its a freaking SCAM!!!!! the 10% discount doesn't even work they factor that into the cost already and just charge more. 91 bucks to tell me what I told them I needed fixed. Worst service ever...... NO STARS (I had to put at least a 1 star just to submit this but I wouldn't have even put that down if this would let me)

I have 3 vehicles and Mel has serviced all 3. He has done brakes on my BMW Z-4, and my Corvette. He just did a tune up and transmission service on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Everything he has done for me has been professional and the price, in most cases, is less than other garages. I am very impressed with Wade Yashimura, his new mechanic. Very intelligent young man and very thorough. He found things on my BMW that other mechanics had missed. My Jeep has 140K miles and it purrs like a kitten since he worked on it. I won't be using anyone but Mel's to do my auto repairs.

I had my Ford diesel truck in this shop three times (three expensive tows) and after spending several thousand dollars and being assured that the starting problem was finally fixed, the problem persists. Very frustrating. I was treated me courteously by this shop but I cannot recommend it for diesel repairs. They just didn't seem to have the skill to get the job done. When you pay to have something fixed, it should be fixed.

Superior performance does a magnificent job at auto repair and restoration. I have used them twice now and have friends that have also been here. Always a great job. Superior is a larger shop than they used to be and seems to have lost a bit of the "mom and pop" atmosphere. However your vehicle will look great!

Where has customer service gone. Went to the Chevron on Murray in Portland Oregon. I had three 5 gallon gas tanks to fill. I could tell the attendent didn't want to help me. I got a twenty dollar bill out to tip him for his help. When he got done he handed me my reciept and started walk away. ( I was the only customer at the pumps). When he didn't help me load them in the back of my rig. I mentioned to him "There goes your Tip".
