Awful car repair shop! DON'T GO! Went to get my car inspected and oil changed and ended up costing $127! Charged me for the 19.99 advertised for the and then an additional $15 for 'Parts/supplies' such as dirty rags and towels. My emissions did not pass but the shop continued to do my safety check without asking me(I was at the shop the entire time) and charged me for both. The emissions did not pass because I had a engine safety light on and they charged me $30 to read the codes. They told me that I had to get my oxygen sensor replaced, the part costing a whopping $238(which I did not agree to). When I took my car to another shop to check the issue, the shop(the trusted one I go to back home) told me that it was not my oxygen sensor at all but was the thermostat for the car engine popped out. I told Meineke what happened, and they refused to give me even a partial refund, even though they admitted that their computer was at fault. AWFUL service AWFUL people, a bunch of liars!

December 30, 2020, my wife and I were on our way to North Carolina to visit our daughter. About 180 miles into our trip our alternator burnt out. Because I thought the issue was a faulty battery, I called AAA for a battery service. The tech determined the alternator was the issue. She could not recommend a nearby mechanic and said we'd be hard pressed to get service given the New Years holiday. Not being from the Carlisle, PA area, we decided to conduct a Google search and found T&M Automotive was about a 1/2 mile away. Turns out they are a AAA approved shop. Go figure why the AAA tech didn't know them! We spoke with Henrik who agreed to help us out. They were amazing!!! Henrik was able to get the required part, had his tech install it, test drove it and got us back on the road 3 hours later. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. They could have easily charged us more and we would have had to pay it given our situation. If you live in the Carlisle area, I highly recommend you use T&M Automotive for your car care. I have been taking my cars and trucks to Larry Miller's shop for over 30 years. He is very talented and gives the best work for the lowest price anywhere Ive seen. I give him my highest recommendation as he has treated me fairly every time over all these years. He has built hot rods for me, worked on my trucks and on the cars for my kids and wife. If there ever was a shop like the one in Mayberry RFD this is it!!!!

WARNING: DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM EAST SIDE AUTO SALES IN GETTYSBURG, PA. I had multiple problems with them, am returning my car along with complaints to the Better Business Bureau, PA Lemon Law & PA State Attorney General's office. I am $130 behind in payments (2 weeks), called them and told them I was mailing in a payment today & would be out Friday & they told me because I threatened to call the state police, I had to have payment in full out today or they were coming to repo the car. I didn't threaten to call the police, I did call the police.
