Owner is a terrible businessman! Held my car for a week and did nothing to it and dodged my calls. Actually had the nerve to threaten to call the police when I came to get it back. Stay very far away from this liar you’ll thank me.

Purchased car on ebay, listed as "drive it today". had shipped 300 miles away due to covid nonsense and upon delivery battery was dead...no big deal, replaced battery and took for a drive, noticed front end shake, took to garage where they found $2500 in repairs needed. Lower control Arm, Motor mounts broken, bad axle and airbag control module. this was just the safety defects...also needs water pump, brakes, belt, tires to name a few...has bolts missing underneath and so on. long story short, STAY AWAY!!! ripoff artists and cons...they should not be allowed to sell cars. and that is being kind....

My family and I have been taking our car there for over 20 years. The owner, Randy, is the best. His prices are a little more expensive than other places, but he always gets to the root of the problem and he is trustworthy. Routinely, he tells us when we can wait to get a service done or if we don't need to do it at all. In the end, this saved us a ton of money.

Having bought a used 1994 Honda Accord with 89,000 miles on it in 2010, it was time to do the basic maintenance on the car which the original owner had deferred. Carlos replaced the valve cover gasket, among other things which needed to be done. One of the spark plug o-rings inside did not seat properly when the cover was put back on. I took it back to Overseas and the problem was quickly remedied, then and there, same day, within an hour. This is why I do not mind paying just a little bit more. On bigger jobs like timing belts (which on this car get done every 90,000 miles and its also recommended to change the water pump which you have to go through to get to the timing belt) the extra $40 you will pay Carlos is well worth the piece of mind that the job will be done right, and that if there are any problems, it will be taken care of. My father takes his cars there, I take my car there. Dad is super anal about his vehicles. If its exceptional for him, its more then good enough for me. I went someplace else ONCE after moving back to Philly from my trusted Florida mechanic. Never again. Carlos and his mechanics are so thorough, they know more then the folks at the Acura dealership about these cars. You can't go wrong and can trust Overseas.

I want to say first this Shop was so friendly and helpful. I had got in car accident on Sunday. Called them Monday morning and my guy who I deal with, was out sick, so the Girl at the front desk, Cat got my car over to their shop right away! I even had the wrong phone number! I call the fax machine & Cat knew to call me back... Anyway, the whole experience was seamless, professional, and easy! They even dealt with my insurance company! The experiace I had at this store was very good. Lowest tire prices in the city. They carry just about any brand. Employee owned company really shoed in their service. I highly recommend.

A friend of mine recommended David to me 5 years ago when I was driving my old car ( Camry 1999 with over 250K mileage). I was amazed how professional, honest, fast, and fair he was. I have recommended him to tons of people since then and nobody never complained about him or his service. This guy really knows what he is doing and doesn't overcharge you or push to get something done if it's not necessary. I love going to get take care of my car at his place. Frankly, he is the only one mechanic that I trust 100%. Every time I come he listens what I need and gives options what and how much. hello i was having a problem with my 98 durango with bad handleing and excessive front end bouncing so i when to bernies cause ive been there before and told the manager the problem i was having and he inspected the front tires and saw that the belts were shifted and he said that was the problem i was like ok look i dont hav a lota money really to spend on tires we wentback in the office and he got me 2 really nice 31/10.50/15 for a great price they work with you the truck rides like a different vehical i feel a lot better goin up and down I 95 lol check em out !! satisfied cust. Handled our car import from Canada after being told by Customs at the border just to drive it across and handle it when we got to where we were going, (not the best advice), but Skytop went over the process with us, got all the paperwork back and allowed us to get our car registered in New Jersey.

Has good stock of older foreign cars. Had my Benz in shop for repairs and job was OK but it took too long. Don't use them if you are in a hurry to get your car back.

I hate to do that, but feel like I have to... I came to this location to get my car inspected last Friday (08/16/2013) waited for 40 minutes until a service representative finally asked how he can help me. ( he was the only one working there and he was already assisting a lady when I walked in...) I said I need my car inspected and how long it would take. I have been told that he needs to make a call to his manager and ask if there is a waiting list for that or something like that. I didn't feel like waiting another hr or two, and left disappointed. I went there second time on Sunday only because my mechanic doesn't work on Sundays and this is the only day off I have after working at two jobs. I waited about 2 hrs to get my car inspected!!! this is ridiculous! I would never ever go to this place again even though there is a lot of work needed to be done at my car. I also was going to buy tires from them, but with this poor customer service I ll pass on that as well.... Would not recommend this particular location to any customers. I am not sure about others locations.

Bought a 2000 Honda a couple of weeks ago for my son.The horn didn’t work and no emissions sticker was on the car.I spoke with the owner who gave me some bullshit answer and then the check engine light came on.I took the car to a mechanic who said it’s not safe to drive (the brake line is ready to fall off and everything is rustedNow I can’t get in touch with the asshole owner, it’s wrong but I hope you have nothing but sadness and misery you are trash.

One star is a LOT to give. This place deserves no business. My car sat in their lot for 11 days. No work was completed. I was going through my warranty company and they didn’t send in any of the photos that were required. Not one photo they claimed to send, went through. I sent the photos they provided to the warranty and they received them immediately. I was stolen from. I removed my vehicle yesterday, without being serviced due to them charging me $1900 for a power steering pump to be fixed. Who in their right minds can tell me that is not overcharging? $1100 out of pocket and my warranty would cover the rest. I told them I know better than this. The district manager of all Philadelphia stores approached me when picking up the keys and tried to assure me that he would do his best to “make me happy”. Immediately I told him nothing with this business would make me happy. He said he would remove $550 off of the price and charge me $449. What mechanic can rightfully take off $550 off of a job? NONE. They were taking advantage of me and thought I wouldn’t fall into their trap. The BEST part of this entire process was the fact that they submitted that they completed the work and charged my warranty company $857 to be paid out. They were PAID for a job UNDONE. I took my car keys and told them I would be taking my business elsewhere. Why would I do business with people who are MONEY HUNGRY and don’t respect women? This is absurd. If i was a MAN I never would have endured such horrible treatment. Each employee was very rude. I would NEVER recommend this business to ANYONE. I will encourage any person who’s ever been to Midas to never return.

If you value your money seek another mechanic. My car smokes, stalls and shakes ever since the lead mechanic Dan laid his hands on it. What should have been a simple fix turned into a ferocious nightmare. Take your car elsewhere.
