Was searching for a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI online and saw Huber's listed on the USAA and Carguru websites. Only problem was it was almost 2 hours away! The car's pictures, description and detail on the website made me give them a call. Eric Reder filled me in on the details over the phone and stressed how much work they put into the car before putting it on the lot. I was surprised to hear that because the car only had 36,000 miles on it! He also said that the car looks better in person than in pictures (he was right!). I drove out and met with Eric Huber and immediately hit it off with him- we are both VW guys. The car looked showroom condition (my wife said several times she can't believe its not new) but Huber's went over the car and performed all of the 40,000 mile services on it. The car is only at 36,000 miles! The point is, I think they could have just vacuumed it, washed it, put 2 tires on it and put it for sale, but Eric explained that most of his customers come there for follow up service and if I came back for the next oil change at 40,000 miles and he hit me with VW's recommended 40,000 mile service charge, I would undoubtedly be P.O'd since I just bought the car. And he's right. Eric showed me the list of all the work performed and gave me a copy for my records. Very impressed with that kind of thinking. Huber's is a full service car repair facility that also sells high quality used cars and they put good cars on the lot to keep their customers happy so they'll come back for service. Worked out well for me!

I recently bought a new(used) car here, and was VERY PLEASED! The car was priced less than blue book value and has thus far not given me the slightest problem. Eric was very open and honest about the condition of the vehicle and the work performed to make it sale ready. Great place to do business! :)

I just had my exhaust replaced on my pickup truck here at the Meineke Car Care Center in Ephrata Pa 17522 and I must say, I've had a lot of exhaust work done on many cars in my day and this place topped them all. I purchased a minivan from them last April. They told me the van was running great with no issues at all. The van then within days of buying it had horrible issues. I got my mechanic to look at it and it found out that it had a severely bad transmission among other issues. I called the week right after I got it and they told me they'd get back to me and have a look at it and wouldn't sell me a bad car. They never got back to me and they ignored my phone calls ever since and hang up when I try to call from other numbers. I had to junk the van because it broke down and tranny went bad when I hadn't even had it one month. Just horrible situation to be put in due to dishonesty.

My 2004 Acura RL remains in a local shop with problems with alternator and belts. LVAG had a signed 36 month extended warranty in hand on 3/4/2014 when I bought the car but after a phone call today the salesperson stated it has not been sent to NADA,the warranty company. There is something very wrong here, to take payment for coverage, to have the customer call NADA several times and give ID numbers without a question, and wait over a month and not send in the paper work. LVAG appears to have taken a risk that a claim would not be entered for some time and their first payment and paper work would be stalled. Very poor business practice !!!
