The guys at Knoxville Ultimate Automotive do fantastic work. They are honest about which repairs need to be done and which can wait. They never try to up sell useless services or anything your vehicle does not need. The Owner is ASE Master certified Technician and was among one of the top Honda technicians when he worked at the dealership. I would trust them to work on any of my cars and I recommend them to all my friends who have a Honda, Acura , Lexus, or Toyota. They even offer a free pre purchase inspection (by appointment) which is almost unheard of these days. Save the money and the hassle of the dealership and go see Ken and Steve. you wont be disappointed.

I have been to this shop several times with two different vehicles. A 99 Nissan Pathfinder and a 92 Ford F150. The employees here are professional and always happy to explain anything you need them to. They have always been upfront about cost, and they are won't try to force you into work you don't need. People who are worried that they will get up sold on something they do not need should have no fear with this place. They do their best to get the work done quickly as not to leave you without your vehicle long. Obviously this varies based on what you are having done, but like the issue with price, they will let you know ahead of time so that you can plan accordingly. The longest I went was one week, but I was having a laundry list of stuff done to the F150. It is a family truck that sat for years without use. If issues arise during your cars stay they will inform you promptly. I thought we'd try this guy after moving close to his place. we got a flier in the area. My regular mechanic quoted me 300 and Maddox was 325, but it was close and I figured it would be nice to have a mechanic nearby. I told him my son had been unemployed for several months and we needed to keep costs down in repairing his truck since he was selling it. He texted that the truck was ready the next day with a $446 bill!! I told him we did not have that and it was more than the estimate. He just kept saying its an "estimate" which means it can change and he found something else that had to be done to "get it right". In 25 years of having my cars fixed, never has a shop, individual or dealership gone ahead and repaired something else without calling for an approval of the price change over the estimate. NEVER. he would not back down. I called my church for help for the extra money,, but maddox would not take a credit card from the church and said cash only. So my church could not help without a paper trail for their records. He really put me in a bind and if that was not enough IT"S NOT EVEN FIXED right. When we drove off, we began to hear a rattle in the engine that was not there before but we do not trust the guy to take it back to him. DON"T GO here, find someone else with some good reviews.

Raymond Watson is my one and only 200% trusted, fully capable and competant automotive service mechanic. I met Ray on a personal basis a little over two years ago and within a couple of months found myself in the akward position of a car breaking down and a friend offereing a 20 minute solution in repair. I've had well over $10,000 in mechanical restoration (which I certainly didn't pay a third of that for, not a close personal friend discount, its just Mike Hunan's way of doing business) to the point that I now drive my car 600 miles from Jacksonville, Florida to ensure that Ray Watson is the one and only mechanic under my hood. You can put your trust in Human's BP and Ray Watson as my family and I do.

Outstanding service here! I'm a 22 year old female college student and I have had a lot difficulty with mechanics ripping me off in the past but once I got in touch with Aamco on Kingston pike and spoke with Danielle Gifford my mind was finally put at ease. Danielle is extremely knowledgeable and was very informative in sharing and explaining all the issues with my vehicle and there were a lot. Not only was her diagnosis accurate but her and her team of technicians did a superb job and worked very efficiently. After my car was inspected they concluded that I needed an entire new braking system and the same was told to me at the Firestone just up the road. However Danielle was able to order the parts and get my car back on the road in less than one business day just before the weekend. They saved me from having to spend more money on renting a car! Also they did a lot more for me for a lot less than Firestone. Daniel,the service manager, even provided and installed new hoses for me at no additional charge. I won't take my car anywhere else! Exceptional service and great management.

Review for BRAKE WORK: Excellent customer service, both on the phone and in person. This is a long-time FAMILY business, and on my arrival I was greeted by a very friendly and sweet young lady who turned out to be the OWNER's grand-daughter. BTW guys, she was beautiful too, could be Scarlett Johannsen's twin sister! A doll. Anyway, I met with the manager Robert, who immediately DROVE my car around the block for his personal diagnosis of the problem. Then they put my car up on a rack for another mechanic to confirm Robert's diagnosis. Importantly - THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR INSPECTION! After they looked at it Robert explained what needed to be done: new brake pads, new rotors (I agreed, knew they were wharped, I could feel the shake and shimmy). Gave me an estimated total cost including tax, and THEN LET ME DECIDE. No pressure, just honest evaluation and information. I appreciated that greatly. Price was fair, work was done quickly, and the service was great. I HIGHLY recommend this business, which is also rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau.

This place was awesome, they gave me a better price than any shop in the area and it came with a better warranty so i was totally sold! They took care of my car quickly, i highly recommend them!

Went to Firestone to get a diagnostic for a squeak. My squeak ended up being 1500$ worth of repairs to my entire vehicle. What!? Completely stressed out at about a 12 from 1-10. Found Bao's by sheer dumb luck. Spent about a good 15-20 minutes talking to the office lady about "THE LIST"..rare. Took it in. Bao looked over everything. 1500$ came down to 180$. Everything on that list was BS! Some I already knew, some I didn't. My issue was a control arm. Was told have to get the whole arm. NOPE. Bao, TOOK THE TIME, to fix JUST what was wrong with it to save ME money. This is crazy right.. Who does this? THEY DO. He and his staff go above and beyond. My rare diamond. They have my full trust and I am at total ease. 100%. I have been blessed. Not only with my recent repair, but that I have someone I can go to and TRUST with my car problems. Top end parts, inexpensive labor, and STILL come out 50% or more, lower than all of the cons out there that think and sucker is born every minute. 6 middle fingers up to you Firestone!!! Decent people likes these folks, who TRULY want to help you, still exist. My rare diamond :).

I paid for an alignment and struts on Saturn VUE, then had to take it back because they didn't replace the strut mounts and it was worse. The front tires quickly became bald between the time they installed the struts and when I returned for warranty, ( I should have realized the tires went bad because of their work), so I paid for new tires and asked about another alignment and was told they would take care of it. In three months the new tires, which were rated at 50,000 miles, were completely shot after less than 3500 miles. I took it back and the car sat in their lot for three days, (unlocked too!). They never called me so I drove over to discuss it, the new manager wasn't even there at 9:00 AM. There were only two guys in the shop, one working and the other just strolling around by the back. They ignored me until I said something, then refused to help, "it's above my pay grade", he said. I decided I didn't want them to touch the car and would request a refund - so I took the keys and asked for a call, never got a call. I drove my car to professionals. Apparently many mechanics around town know about this rip off. I was told that Ridgeway doesn't even own an alignment machine, and by law they have to ask permission before taking it off premises for repair, which was never done. I've really tried to give these "Christians" an opportunity to honor their work by making things right, but they won't even answer their phone or return calls. They should read Luke 12:58. Charging me for an alignment that wasn’t done and destroying both the original and also the new set of tires, combined with their behavior and the way they treated me - is a serious reproach on the name of the Lord. I already have an attorney working on this, all I wanted when I showed up after being ignored was a refund. This place really needs to go out of business to protect consumers. I don't want to give them even a single star but it won't let me post until I do. Perhaps they started out good years
