He won my business about 4 years ago and I keep bringing him more, with good reason. I've been able to count on Chip and team to keep my car going. He stands behind his work and you can count on him to not lead you astray or feed you a line. I have sent my mother to him several times, now, if that can tell you anything! I think of him as extended family and also value his work. Chip, Donnie, Scott, and all are the guys you want for your auto repair.

All I wanted was hime to use compressed air to blow out my a/c, he said he would not. He gave me a bunch of bull about how he needed to take the unit out and use a cemical cleaner to clean it out. We live on a mountain and I am building a home so we have alot of dust, all I wanted was to blow out the fins. It was maintenance. He must be very welthy and not need to work.

I had my 95 chevy suburban oil changed and plugs changed and also my door handle put back. Mike Nelson is a very good mechanic that is ase certified and his prices are very reasonable. Will definatly be calling again in future when need more work done

I have taken my Kia Sportage to Ponder only a few times.Both times the people have treated me kindly and the work has been great. They have given me a ride back to my home each time. This last time the repairs on my vehicle were much more than I had expected and Bob told me about the NAPA 6 months no interest credit card which helped me with the cost. Melissa was extremely helpful when it was discovered that some of the repairs were caused by something that had been done by the previous repair shop that did work on my engine. She took it upon herself to contact the other shop and work with them on the cost which saved me $300. This was such a gift to me and I am totally grateful for this. I will continue to take my Kia to Ponder and will be a lifelong customer. I was impressed with the speed in which it took me to get my car repaired and back to me. Granted the repair wasn't a huge job, but to be able to walk in off the street and have the car fixed without having to wait is great. The staff seem to be knowledgeable and honest and the price was fair. I will be going back to this shop when/if I have another vehicle issue. A+

Bought 4 tires last June. Within 2 weeks, one tire became warped. Took the van back, and they claimed to fix the problem. No luck. This same scenario occurred 5 times. FIVE TIMES. They blamed alignment (though they aligned the vehicle twice). Never once did they offer to replace their defective product. Please note: I am speaking specifically of Hayworth in Johnson City. The other locations may be fine. But...Hayworth in JC will not stand by their product. They will deny and blame until you're too frustrated to deal with them anymore. Avoid Hayworth Tire JC at all costs.

I was told I needed $900 worth of repairs. A second mechanic told me I needed nothing but the oil change! Stay away from these liars!

I am p----- off a guy named Sam Bowen traded vehicles with my husband the bad part is that he lied to my husband and told us that the emergency brake cable had just been replaced. yesterday I had my brother who happens to be a mechanic took a look at it we then found out that the emergency break cable has not been replaced but only fixed in a couple of sections my husband cant drive this truck because it also leeks brake fluid witch is also very very bad this guy is a bad person my husband traded a bmw for this truck Sam works for BROWN'S MILL AUTO TECH In Johnson city TN this man is a lier and basicly a theif the only reason we traded with him was based on a lie if you run across this man WATCH OUT YOU MAY GET STUCK WITH A BAD DEAL TOO

Do not let these people replace your window tinting. Later, when you discover that your rear window defroster no longer works, Mike will tell you that he didn't bother to warn you of the possibility or your options because they "don't even think about it". Furthermore, Mike will explain to you (like you are an idiot) that this is perfectly normal and if it's an inconvenience, you can go buy a new window. Had I known, I'd have not replaced the rear tint. Had I known what sort of thoughtless business this is, I'd have gone elsewhere. Anyway, now you know. Perhaps they are better at washing cars.
