Auto repair service near Mansfield, TX

I had my oil pan replaced 08-22-14 at C.A.R.S.-they were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner.I dropped the car off and they took me home and picked me up once the car was repaired. They are very service oriented and try to please each customer. I have used them in the past and would recommend them to my friends and anyone looking for a good auto repair shop.

Stay away from these guys they give make the Muslim brotherhood look honest. I selected a one because negative numbers aren't offered

The mechanic there named Terry is a bold faced liar. Quoted me $850 worse case scenario. Had my car for a couple days, gave me a call told me again on this second occasion, $850 for parts/labor & also mentioned a $60 belt that I denied maintenance, to fix only the main problem. (2) days laters Terry tells me it's going to be $1,900. I let him know absolutely no way, so he convinces me, cons me into his front desks pre-approved on the spot loan that I'll be able to pay within a year. Paid him all my money, $1,000 so he "would be able to order parts". Now Terry says my rides ready, but I have to give him a check for $952. So basically Cookson's Transmission City has my car(house right now), my life savings, and most of my personal belongings for $150 over originally quoted on two seperate occasions.

I don't know if this is where I post a review for a auto purchase... but just wanted to share my experience with them. They provided me financing when no one else would. I was in and out of the dealership in no time! I will never dread buying a used car again...because I am going right back to them!

Please take your car somewhere else! Larry Duncan and his crew are a bunch of con-artist. They doubled the price they quoted me for transmission repai. I paid for a lifetime warranty and my transmission started to slip again, 3 months later. I went to the shop, so they could look at my car and they wouldn't honor the warranty. They are a bunch of CROOKS!!! I should have done my due diligence, however the business was operating under a different name. I would give them negative stars of I could (-5) stars.

I purchased a flight from Washington to purchase a truck that was promised to be sound. I placed a deposit and had completed all of the paper work except for signing. When I got to the dealership, I was told they need to fix an injector. I had to purchase a hotel and wait, then the following day the rep. Mike D. told me that the engine was blown. He then teased saying we were lucky he did not change the injector and send us on our way. I viewed several other trucks on the lot and ALL of the trucks had the check engine lights on. When I went to the shop to see another truck, the mechanics were burning tread into balding tires. This place was extremely inappropriate and unhelpful! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE HONEST! The manager was unhelpful and did not care to discuss what had happened. This facility is not honest and will do anything to take your money.
