Auto repair service near Watauga, TX

I went into Pep Boys in Lake Worth Texas on 4/13/2013 for a standard oil change. When I walked in there were 2 gentlemen working the front desk. One of those employees was helping someone else the other was on the computer searching for information. Once he realized he could not find that info he decided to acknowledge me. I'd been standing there for about 3 to 4 minutes before he looked my direction and i was only 1 1/2 steps away from him. Against my better judgement I let them go ahead with the oil change. Customer Service is not there strong suit. I will not go back and would not recommend this establishment to any of my friends.

By far the best Automotive service on the West Side of Fort Worth. Honesty, Integrity and Friendly service are my requirements and Tilden Car Care Exceeds them all. Took my car in to replace both front and rear gaskets for oil leak and replace the rack and pinions. My car on in their shop for 3 days. On the day I picked up the car and drove off, the car made a loud whistle sound, unable to turn my wheels. I manage to drive back to the shop and the owner had to correct the issue. The rack and pinion was leaking power steering fluids all over. part of the rack and pinions was left loose as well. As for the oil leak, my engine is still leaking oil. They did not made the repair to replace the front and rear gaskets but instead charge me for it. To this day which is 3/31/2025, my engine is still leaking oil. I am filing a law suit to recover my money they stole from me. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! If there are a negative -5 Stars they deserve it.

This is the best car place EVER! I can usually drive right in and get my car services. They always give me honest and fair advice; their prices are great; and they even helped me when I had to see my car. I will NEVER use anyone else but them. Jeff and Michael are the best. As a single woman, I feel like I can put my trust in them.

Can not take a truck and get it out in less than a week even for the smallest repairs. Lack of concern and very little customer service at this place.
