Horrific experience - horrible customer service. If you like your car and sanity, I would recommend NOT purchasing a vehicle or servicing your vehicle here. In October 2014 we purchased a brand new 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 with less than 120 miles on it - upon delivery of the truck we noticed a few issues that required repair. It is now March 30th, 2015 and the truck is still at their service department because every time they fix one issue, they create more issues; including but not limited to having to pull off all four doors and repaint them because they damaged the paint. We have had to hire an attorney and contact General Motors corporate office just to get someone from the dealership or service department to give us an update.

They did an oil change on my wifes car and recommended a few things that needed to be fixed. The brakes were down but they were honest and said they would last until the next checkup but that I needed them. They showed me and I appreciate the honesty so I just had them do them. Highly recommend.

I'm from out of town and my brakes went out. They stayed late on a Saturday night and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Highly recommended! Barbara B.

On my most recent visit Mike Palmer Automotive identified my problem (a loose belt) and fixed it for me in a timely manner at no charge. I have been going to Mike Palmer Automotive for years and I have been very satisfied with them. Mike, Vanessa and all of the mechanics have been great at explaining what is wrong without making you feel stupid. They let you know which repairs need to be done and which repairs can wait. They fix your car in a timely manner at a fair price. They even let you use a loaner car for free while yours is in the shop (all you have to do is pay for the gas you use.) I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Dirve a BMW 525i - 2005 about 105K miles. just had my transmission serviced 01/20 (fluid replced etc. 0serviced by these guys, the owner not only had me in his office to get a quote on the price , needed 9 liters. BMW quoted 48 bucks/liter, he gave me a 20 % discount on the total price. I also had a few warning lights, that needed to be looked at, he brought me into the back plugged his computer , and showed me everything that came up. Reset a few minor lights, and no charge for that, Dealership ususally charges 85.00 to reset lights. Very good service, and I would definatelly do business again with them

As a women I feel intimidated when I have to have anything done on my car because I do not know anything about it. I was pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness of Dennis and Russ. They made me feel in control of the repair, showed me the part that was leaking and explained what it did. They did not talk down to me as a women and asked me if I had any other questions they could answer. I loved that they took me home since the car had to cool down before they could do the repair and the total bill was less then they had quoted. I have found a great new shop and will be telling all my friends about them. What a great family business. I got there just as they were doing some painting inside and they apologized for the stacks of equipment and parts outside while they finished painting during the night. When I went back the next day to pick up my car it looked so clean and bright inside. I was impressed that they had done so much in such a small amount of time. Susan Bailey

Amazing, honest and incredible work! I went in for a brake inspection and an oil change and upon completion they told me exactly what was wrong with my brakes, what it would cost to fix it, what the warranty would be and how long it would take. Having no coupons in hand I was planning on paying the full price for the services. Keith stepped in and told me that he would give me the coupon price for the services rendered and took care of the inspection charge cutting my bill by 3/4! I would very much recommend this place to anyone looking for good, quality, honest and reliable automotive work. -Kyle

Plowgian Auto receives 0 stars from me today. Today I give Plowgian Auto in Salt Lake City, UT 0 Stars, 0 Stars for Integrity, 0 Stars for their honesty, and accountability to this customer. It is my recommendation to not go to this poor excuse of a mechanic if you desire to have them stand behind their work. Behind their bright cheery smile lives deception, and cold heartedness. I give Plowgian a huge thumbs down !!! I was coming from Canada to Arizona, January 2018, and developed a head gasket leak. I was greeted by Jeff Plowgian with a bright and cheery smile and wonderful promises to repair my vehicle. The head gasket and head and exhaust manifold were replaced. A week later, in Sedona Arizona, my power steering went, my radiator blew and harmonic crankshaft balancer went. I called Plowgian to discuss this matter. Jeff told me of his great sorrow and would reimburse me my $3200, but shortly after spoke with his attorney and the price dropped to about $2000. I told him of the cost to repair the damage to my engine or the cost to replace the engine. He spoke to the Sedona Mechanic who clearly stated that faulty reassembly of the crankshaft key and pulley system caused this problem. My last conversation with Plowgian the price had gone down to $500 to replace the harmonica balancer. I asked about towing costs, car rentals and he said $500 was the best he could offer. Plowgians Insurance company sent their technician to my home to run an analysis on my truck. As soon as he looked at it, he saw the power steering unit was not aligned properly and stated that this was where the problem began ( an external examination ). He submitted this to Plowgians insurance company and their adjuster said his report stated the current problem was not due to faulty mechanics, but due to wear and tear. I have 360,000 miles on my Toyota Tacoma ( known to get over 600,000 miles). I told her that the technician took a video and told me the real cause and she got irate, because it contradicted her evaluation to offer no compensation. Common with insurance companies. I contacted an attorney to assist in a small claims suit. I towed my truck back to my home town and the mechanic there said the same thing, upon running a diagnostic. Plowgians faulty reassembly was the cause of the problem. We went to small claims court with signed documents from both mechanics and the case was lost, even though it was clearly stated that Plowgian was at fault. Prior to court, when I spoke with Plowgian they said if I could tow it in, they would be able to do their own diagnosis and gladly repair it, versus trusting the diagnosis of these other mechanics. I am about 600 miles away and it would be very expensive to transport my vehicle. I received no compensation for Plowgians damage to my vehicle, no reimbursement for towing costs, car rentals and any other inconvenience that I suffered through. For a month I did not have a vehicle and Plowgian did absolutely nothing. Today I give Plowgian 0 Stars, 0 Stars for Integrity, 0 Stars for their honesty, and accountability to this customer. AVOID THIS PLACE! Been here three times trying to get my oil change done after having bought a coupon book good for three oil changes from Groupon. First time the guy, Omar, told me they didn't have my oil filter. Second time he told me it would be a two hour wait (they don't accept appointments). Third time I tried to drop my car off. He told me they don't do that, that I'd have to wait three hours in their waiting room. I asked for a refund on my coupon book and he told me to leave. I told him this was the third time I'd been there and still can't get my oil change done and he didn't seem to care. He replied, "Yeah, I don't care." I won't even mention what happened after that. This is at their new location next to Markosian Auto. I had been going to the previous location down the street for years without any problems. I could drop my car off, no problem. They took appointments if you wanted to do that (even says it on the coupon book). The people were really friendly. None of those people are at the new location. This place is a nightmare. Do not go here.

Will never do business with these guys again and also make the recommendation to others to steer clear. I bought a used truck from them and under recommendation of the finance manager and salesman, although I was hesitant to do so, purchased their after-market warranty specifically to cover any issues with the 4WD ($2,200 for a comprehensive 3 year warranty - so not an insignificant amount). I started having issues with the 4WD so I took it in to have it repaired. I was told that the warranty would not cover the issue as the specific part needing replaced was not listed and if I didnt like it to call the warranty company myself. I expressed my displeasure with the situation as I had purchased the warranty through the dealership and hoped they would fight for the me their customer. While the service rep was courteous, he never made any offer other than to fix the part for an additional $700. Poor poor customer service and a lack of integrity and honesty from the finance and sales departments. Will NEVER buy from this dealership again.

Took my Subie in for an oil change. I usually always put synthetic oil in my car but he insisted on putting regular Valvoline in my car and charged me synthetic price for it. Will never go back.

!IF YOU ARE A YOUNG WOMAN DO NOT GO HERE, THE OWNER WILL OVER CHARGE YOU, DEGRADE YOU AND HUMILIATE YOU!! HE WILL THEN ASK IF YOURE “DADDY CAN PAY THE OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT OF STUFF THEY DID TO YOUR CAR WITHOUT PERMISSION SINCE YOU REFUSED AND NEVER AGREED. I was at this shop yesterday for a simple smoke test to find out what was wrong with my car, we agreed on a smoke test only, I left my car for a few hours to get a call back that the owner of the shop “went ahead “ and fixed a bunch of stuff we didn’t even go over, he then continued to go in about how I had to pay for the gas because he DROVE MY CAR TO GET PARTS I DIDNT APPROVE OR EVEN AWARE I NEEDED. He was very unprofessional and when I said we didn’t agree on that and why he didn’t call me he said that he did it out of his goodwill just to fix it and I had to pay the bill I had no idea of, a simple 100$ smoke test went up too over 600-700$ in labor and repairs. He then degraded me and humiliated me by shoving his finger in my face and telling me I am not speak until he does. This is an old man talking to a 25 years old woman, he swore and stated that he never wants to see me or my “fucking car “ agian. I had to have my dad come in and help me due to the disrespect and this man making me cry and feeling cornered and helpless. IF MY DAD WOULDNT HAVE COME IN THIS MAN WOULD HAVE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME TO THE POINT I WAS SO CLOSE TO CALLING THE COPS. This man then told me to step out of the room so him and my dad could talk even though I was the paying customer , he degraded me and made me feel like as a woman I had no power, and I needed my “dad” and at that point no 25 year old woman should have to call her dad crying over a man degrading and humiliating and “shhsing “ his grown daughter over trying to figure out a payment plan. He agrees to 300$ all I had at the time and I said that’s fine but I will be letting other young woman know that you take advantage and he continued to say “I will just raise the price agian” I honestly do t know why I didn’t call the cops on this disgusting crook This man is a terrible man and if you’re reading this review I hope you know I will be getting other people to leave reviews. You should not be in business and you need some mental help on top of that, you are a disgusting human being.
