Was told my head gasket needed to be change I decided to get a second opinion come to find out my car had no coolant or oil I wasn’t told that when I left yall shop even tho the car was tested costed me 146.00 for testing but come to find out my radiator was crack down the middle

I was referred to this shop as being the best alignment shop within 50 miles. I have used them multiple times. Sort of old school, low tech operation, and they do not run out and greet you in the parking lot. However, they have done a great job every time, for me and others I know. On two occasions, they identified significant issues with front end suspension components and recommended that I not spend money on the alignment until those items are fixed (and they did not lobby to get the business for the repairs, though they were willing to do it). They charged me only a few bucks and said they would take that amount off the cost of alignment when I brought it back. They lost money that day because a time slot produced a fraction of the revenue expected, but they were clearly more concerned that my vehicle be made right and that I NOT spend more money than necessary in the process. I respect that, as it is rare these days, and appreciated it. Right now, I am scheduling another vehicle for alignment with them.

very friendly people who were so very helpful and professional. very fair price for work done on my vehicle. They could have easily gouged me as I was from out of state and unable to move my vehicle until it was repaired. Made every effort to repair that night but could not get parts. Stayed after hours to inspect damage and assess what could be done. Took me to a hotel and picked me up the next day. The work was done professionally and with extra care as I was traveling alone and still had another 12 hours of travel. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a mechanic anywhere near Rt77 and 81. Thank you again gentlemen. You did a great job and you made my day more pleasant by meeting you all. P.S. My husband is a mechanic but was not traveling with me at the time so I know of what I speak of when I say "qualified" and "professional"

Chris is a good friend and does the best work on my vehicles. Does whatever it takes to do the job right and testing things on my car no halfway no rigging things to get by job done right, working after hours for people to get your car finished on time you need it. If you need a car done right Chris is the best in the county to get it done for you goes the extra mile for his people to help you out. Doesn't care what the job is on your vehicle Chris can get it done for the right price. Chris and his dad and his uncle worked on my dads vehicle years ago before my dad past away has all ways had super service done on vehicles. I would STRONGLY recommend 100% percent to take your vehicles to Chris Riffey's to worked on job done right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Accidentally locked the keys in the truck when traveling from TX to PA at the Shell station in Abingdon, VA. Called Dodge roadside assistance for help and within 10 minutes, Steve from Eades came to our rescue and was able to unlock our truck so we could continue our travels back to PA. Excellent quick service and Steve was very nice! Definitely deserve this 5 star review! Kris F.

With only 2,000 miles on it. It leaks and slips. Goober took a good transmission apart, called and told me to come and look at it on the table ,Mr. bozo said I could come by and see it had no internal problems .When I got there it was back in the car. they had some clutch plates on the wall. GOOBER had very obviously broke all the linings off the plates. I could see where they were out of round where they had used pliers to break them off. the main band showed some wear but it was very dry and had been out of a transmission for quiet a while. I told goober it was an electrical problem, not the transmission. Goober even hooked it up on his computer. I was stuck with a $1,900 bill and a car with the problem I had Paid to have repaired. I brought it back home and repaired it myself. I did the repair myself, I replaced the throttle body gasket for $3 dollars. I had to also replace 4 bolts they left out. As OBOMA said, "it is not over I will pick my place and time". You bunch of BOZOS!!!!!

I arrived at Sam Snead tire on Saturday July 29 to inquire about repair of a bent Axel on my 1997 Lincoln Town car limousine. Upon my arrival 3 " mechanics" began to inspect, touch and attempt to open the rear passenger doors to the limo in the fashion of having never seen one before. Time being an issue, and no one asking how they could help I gained their attention and asked if they could repair the issue. At that point a "supervisor" came out an I informed him of the issue. He said " I'll have to order the parts but we can do it". I agreed to let him repair the issue and he replied " I'll order the parts if you promise to return on Monday at 12pm when the parts arrive", I agreed. I return to the Walmart in Bristol and stay in the limo until Monday. I arrived Monday around 8am and the employees began to disassemble the rear components of the car in preparation for the arriving parts. 12pm rolls around and no parts, 3:30-4:00 pm parts arrive. They ordered the WRONG Axle! I am told excuses about who's to blame and I calmly and politely told them " I understand , let's just get it done". They say another 2 days for the parts that will arrive at 12pm, I responded " around 3:30 or 4?" Mechanic responded " No, 12pm" as I know very well he can't make promises for Fed ex. At this point I can no longer stay in my limousine as it is on Jack's and must get a hotel room. I return 2 days later at 11am in anticipation of the parts arrival, 12pm no parts! They arrive at 3:40 pm as I said they would. Again WRONG Axle!!!!! They sent the old Axel to a local machine shop to be refurbished and cancelled delivery of the proper Axel " he will work on it tonight and it will be done tomorrow"I return to the hotel. I return at 11am on Friday August 4th, no Axel, I wait until 4:15 pm closing time at 5 and the business will be closed all weekend , the manager says " we are going to stay late for this". Obvious to me that this is not going to get done I began to explore my options as I had no more cash for hotel or food. I had them call the owner Allen Hearl to ask if he could help me with accommodateons until the repair is complete, as every promise made by staff had been broken I could no longer put trust into anymore deadlines stated by his staff. I was told by Allen Hearl " I've lost money by having your car in one of my bays, I've had to turn away business, Definitely not the case at all as I have been in the lobby for 6 hours a day for 4 days looking at their job board. I said to him I need access to my vehicle over the weekend, He had his staff roll my limo out of the bay with No Rear tires put on Jack's stands and lay all parts and tires outside in the rain, EXCEPT my Axel , manager shuts door as all staff goes home at 5:05 ( remember staying late??) With their heads down in shame as I drag my suitcase in the rain a mile to the nearest hotel. I have never had or heard of a business treating a coustumer like this. I am now in the hotel that I can't afford to spend another 3 days stranded.

Estep Transmissions does not have honor. They took my money and gave me nothing but frustration in return. Multiple visits over 6 months and still not repaired. I could have bought a factory rebuilt transmission for what they charged me. Small claims court.
