Auto repair service near New Richmond, WI

Dropped my vehicle off the night before my appointment for an oil change. The vehicle still wasn't done by the "when needed time." The vehicle was complete right at closing time. The explanation was a bunch of excuses until a different service write came over and explained exactly what happened. Normally wouldn't be an issue for me but I needed my vehicle by a certain time that day. I've been going here for 13+ years so was slightly disappointed by the lack of explanation and inconvenience.

Tony was very helpful with looking into a fix for a detached splash guard. I've been an Apitz customer for many years, and have always received prompt, courteous service.

After keeping my car for a week longer than promised and no word, I called these guys and found out they'd only done a third of the work. When I tried to pin them down on a completion date, I was told a different story by each person I talked to. When I finally talked to Tony (the owner) again today, he said I should pick up my vehicle as is, because they were "done with me." This, even though he knew I'd just had major surgery and can''t drive, so I had to find 2 other people to come with me (to drive my car and theirs away). So today a friend, my daughter and I arrive to pay the bill and get my vehicle, and the whole time Tony stood nearby mocking and taunting me for being "fired" by them, like a middle-school bully (while the office woman stood there smiling)! And he actually yelled "Have fun in hell!" as I left the office. They make promises they don't keep, and the owner is a Trump-like moron who actually took pride in knowing he'd insulted and upset me--a 55-year-old woman just out of the hospital, and all this in front of my teenage daughter! Horrible people, and I feel sick that I actually paid them my hard-earned money.

I have been bringing my vehicle there for years to get tires. Never had a problem. Recently when I bought 4 tires and wanted them installed, I was told that there was an issue in removing the rear two and replacing them. There was no problem with the front 2. I was told that the rear two were torqued too tight, and that was the reason why they couldn't be removed. All 4 tires were torqued to the same tightness. So my question is, how could the front 2 be removed, but not the rear? I took it somewhere else, and they had no problem with removing the rear tires. Obviously, the person who was working on it had no idea what they were doing. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my vehicle back for any type of service. You should look closely at the people you have in your service department, and see what the problem is.
