When I bought my used Subaru A&A did a great job on changing the head gaskets. They did it in a timely manner and no problems after. Just had a complimentary oil change too. I am going to keep them. thank you A&A for The friendly excellent service. Nice to know there are still people like you out there. Jay Barnhart

I'm not sure how long I've been going to A&A, more than 10 years I'd guess. They are outstanding! They are patient, give good explanations, and are accurate in their estimates about time and cost (given the vagaries of what they find and where the part comes from). Dexter, at the front desk, is so helpful. The bottom line is: I trust them! Sincerely, Gene

Review for Moore and Sons I had a very horrible experience with Moore and Sons. They lied to me multiple times. They made my car worse than the first time I brought my car there. Now, my car is breaking down. I’m hearing more weird sounds. I brought my car to Moore and Sons for the FIRST TIME because I heard a weird noise on the driver side. The guy said, it was one of the belts that was making the noise and he changed that belt (cost me almost $200). My husband asked them to check everything because I want my car to be ready for winter and make sure the car is in great condition. The guy said, “don’t have to worry about that, your car is fine”. After I got my car back, I called them because I am still hearing the same noise. Few days later my car just died in the middle of the road. My car just suddenly stopped working after just a few days from this shop. I had to tow my car to Moore and Sons (cost about almost $100). The SECOND TIME my car in the shop—this time he said the alternator was broken and they changed that too (cost about $600). I got my car back again after the second time in the shop and I called them again because I was still hearing the same frkn noise. The guy said to bring my car back to the shop again for the THIRD TIME. He said it was one of the axles that making the noise, so he changed that axle (costs about $325). For the FOURTH TIME, I called them again and said I am hearing the same noise and it’s getting worse. He then promised to get to the bottom of this to fix the problem. Guess what! He LIED he never fixed it. I am driving this car with more noises than the first time I brought my car to this shop. The problem is even getting worse, and I spent a lot of money trying to fix this car that does not have much value. My car is old and worth about $2,500 and they ripped me half of that amount. They lied to me multiple times. THIS CAR SHOP RIPPED ME OFF! WITH THE PROBLEM REMAIN UNFIXED!

The staff is professional the the vehicle inspection is thorough. My issue is with their parts pricing. They literally get their parts from NAPA and then double the cost. I was told I could get the parts myself if I could get them cheaper and they would install them. When I brought the parts in (bought at NAPA at less than half the price MIDAS wanted to charge) I found out that if you want to buy the parts yourself and bring them in they'll charge you a "customer supplied parts" charge of 50% of their 100% parts markup. Blatant RIP-off. If they were to charge a 10 convenience fee for parts... I'd be ok with that. But at $150/hr for maintenance and then rip you off on the auto-parts is unacceptable. I will never bring my vehicle to MIDAS again

No support. As with other poster they were overtly racist and sexist, treating me a savvy mid-20's woman like I couldn't possibly know anything about men's business. The manager was a joke, as bad or worse as the employees in that dingy little single wide and their massive filthy dog kept jumping on me. I worked with Randall Peace, he sold me a car with a "All point inspection" oil dangerously low and filthy black, washer well empty which didn't matter because the wipers didn't work. I took it to my own mechanic who looked at the engine and said it was sound so I bought it. They held it overnight so i could get it registered to me. i picked it up in the morning, the 3/4 tank of gas, gone and the furl light was on and they stripped all the floor mats out saying if I wanted them there was an extra charge. That was the first clue of my poor choice. Less than 500 miles and had to replace both front axles and differentials. Almost 3 grand on the estimate. While he was in there they found that I needed bearings and ball joints. $4000. I called and spoke to the manager, and their mechanic who said that when he checked it was mechanically sound and then it must be driver abuse to have something go wrong like that so quickly. I told the manager that I was very upset, and he told me that "that was the color of business." Never again and I've told everyone I know what hacks and thrives they are. All I can think to do. Beware!!!
