WARNING: HomeTown Motors by MEBray at Citysearch too bad I could not give this dump minus stars! This place was a horrible experience. I found a beautiful Jag there. Drive it and fund many things wrong with it, however they promised to make it right. We made the deal and they said my financing was aproved. I had the car about 3 days and it was awsome. I went in to get it fixed and they said that was suddenly an issue with my financing. they took the car back. Of course I was very upset. then about a week latter they called one of my references to get a hold of me. they had been able to secure the financing. I called them right away. I spoke to CID. He said the finance people were in and approved my app on the spot. he asked me if I still wanted the car and of course I did. He said to come and pick it up, it was all mine. I paid for the insurance and accessories. I made it in at about 5:00pm the next day. I was told that suddenly for soem reason they could not explain my financing was turned down. This is less than 24 hours latter. However he said I could pick out another car on his lot and he would sell that one to me. I said No I came here to purchase the Jag. He went into the backroom with his buddies for about a half hour to "call the bank" after about 30 min he came back out and said my down payment had to now be 7500.00 on a 14,000 car, This is up from $4500 the day before. and it had to be in CASH. I was outraged and left. I called back about 30 min latter and I aske him what day he lied. yesterday or today. He gave me some crappy answer and I hung up. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, here and a few more. I am not going to stop until they make this right.

Brought my Honda Element in for an oil leak. Other place wanted to replace head gasket, but Rusty diagnosed it to just the valve cover gasket and camshaft end caps. Saved me from unnecessary repairs. BnC seems to be very honest and only fix what really needs to be fixed. They are not trying to sell you or talk you into all kind of repairs. I can highly recommend them and will bring our cars there for any needs in the future.

I had them performed an engine swap in my Jaguar. The job was complicated because I had a Corvette 5.7L engine used to replace the 4.0L Jaguar engine. The job was completed in 2 days without any problem. Other shops that wanted the job asked for 7 days at least. I'm glad I found these guys - they are now mechanic for life. Good job!!! I will highly recommend you to everyone.

I arrived at the Santee, CA location for my appointment on Monday. The representative looked at their computer and requested when I had made the appointment. I was then informed that the technician who does air conditioning won't be in until Saturday! It was fairly obvious this was the first time the appointments were checked. If the appointment had been checked earlier, I could have been called. This is poor customer service. It would appear you need to update your website so that occurrences such as this would not be allowed. That is, if a technician is not available, do not let the appointment be scheduled.

Took my 2019 Mustang GT to them after being told the dyno tune and e85 conversion would cost $1,400.00. An hour after dropping off the car my son (his car) was called and told they couldn't do the E85 conversion without a kit and the cost to tune the car would be $2045.00. They said it was more work than they anticipated. They are are called the Dyno Shop but don't know what it entails to tune a stock 2019 GT? Unfortunately my son told them okay and they did the tune. No complaints on the work done. When we picked the car up Hayden, the mechanic, said he would only charge $200.00 to install the flex fuel kit if we brought it back to them. stupidity on my part but we purchased the kit and brought it back to them. Like clock work, they call an hour later and say it will cost $500.00 and we need to bring them a card for the tuner claiming it didn't come with one. My son says okay again and brings them the card. Two days later we get the car back at a cost of $795.00. The tuner was not hooked up only the card was programmed with the settings. He said that would be extra to install and hook up the tuner. Seriously? When my son went to hook up the tuner the card that came with it (the one they said it didn't have) was in the tuner and blank meaning he only programmed the card we bought and never tested the tuner. When we installed the card Hayden programmed it was blocked by firewall issues. I called and complained to the owner (Mark) who was cool other than saying we should have just said no to the price changes and didn't seem concerned about that being a poor business practice. He arranged for the car to be taken care of on a Saturday and said the tuner would be fixed and installed for us in the dash as it is supposed to be. My son took it in and it was fixed however Hayden refused to install it in the dash as Mark promised. $2800.00 bill and that's the service you get... Buyer beware. They can tune cars but it will cost you double the estimate if you want it done by them.
