NO NOT USE WOODCREST AUTO. Dropped 2004 Dodge Dakota with clicking noise. After $250 in labor just to diagnose it they said it was a guide to the timing chain. Here comes the scam! So a timing chain now turns out I need to replace three, I found a kit with everything I need for $400 but they of course broke it up individually and charged accordingly. The three chains from them was $448 which after doing research I didn't need to replace chains but they made me think I did. It was a bad guide which came in a kit but they charges me 3 individual guides even though only one was bad, another $200. Recommended replacing the oil pump that didn't need replacement for $250 which the most expensive I found was $139. They said I needed valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, oil, coolant, etc. What I thought mentioned over the phone was $1100-$1200 was $2200+ so over $1000 profit! The same name used in positive feedback (Marc) is 100% staged! 100% scam artists! Could have bought a new engine for that amount!

Went to get my A /C recharged. The guy tells me that it's holding pressure, but two valves are leaking. (What?). Tell's me my cabin filter is totally clogged. ( Just changed it two months ago, checked in parking lot after they were done, it wasn't ) $330 later, he tells me it is working fine now and is 32 degrees colder, but I won't notice today because it's not that warm out. I was watching these guys working on my car, when they were supposedly working, and I really don't think they did a thing. I would not take any vehicle here again, in fact I would like to take them to small claims court. They are committing fraud in my opinion. BEWARE!!!

Advantage Automotive diagnosed my problem, explained the repair needed and had the job done in the time and cost quoted. After being told I needed brakes at another automotive shop Advantage Automotive blew out the brake dust which stopped the squeaking and told me I had another 40K miles left. The worst mechanic I have ever had service done at. My car shut off and wouldn’t start and I called because my car wouldn’t start and I didn’t feel safe driving it “well you can tow it” I already didn’t want to go in because of the service even though they have a tow flat, but parents insisted. I was first told it was the alternator and battery, over $800. Two days later the car did the same thing. I called after a couple days to check on the car, Mark answers and is the snottiest person I’ve ever spoke to. “Didn’t you just call on Friday?!” So tf if I did you’re being paid for the SECOND time for the same issue and he charged us another $200* dollars for a throttle cleaning. My car is now even worse after this jerk worked on it, I refuse to let him touch it again. When I get gas now the car will not start and the car is still having the same problem but worse. He is incompetent, rude and a con artist. I will never recommend anyone to this joke of a mechanic. If you want to lose over 1k and your car come out worse this is the place. Im pissed.
