This place is a scam and rip me off.... took my car in for not starting. they piggy back a connector to my fuel pump relay and charged me for something that it was not even replaced!!!! found out from another shop when the car have the same issues and symptoms. DON'T TAKE TO THIS PLACE!!! call them and never call me back. DO NOT TAKE TO THIS PLACE!! THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF THE OWNER IS A CROOK!!!

Should have read the Reviews First on What A Deal. February 2015 walked in to purchase a Chevy S10 Pick Up and Kelly approved financing with $1500 down. After signing the contract with Michelle she advised would have to rewrite the contract when the bank finalizes the interest, so I didn't get a copy but did get a receipt from Kelly for the down payment. Well the motor gave up 3 days prior to the 30 day warranty. Kelly said he would take care of it by installing another motor. Well its been over a month, and I have not been able to contact anyone... left various messages and emails. Been going by on a daily basis and found him there today 3/21/15 12:30pm. He told me to get off his property because it was closed and he was calling the police... He stated business went wrong and is moving has no money to return the down payment or fix the truck. Would like to gather everyone that has had the bad experience with What A Deal (current and past google reviews) to file the complaint with the bar to help others not to fall in this situation and prevent the approval to do business elsewhere.

Dave was awesome from the very first time we called, all the way to the final day of completion. He is the best! Dave is very honest, trustworthy and a man of his word. His shop is very clean and hard working. They are so good, it's like a NASCAR Pitcrew handle your vehicle's needs. They take pride in their work and make you feel great and relieved to put your vehicle in such expert hands. Zach the mechanic was amazing and professional. He met with my Dad and brother and showed them the old engine and was very courteous and professional. It was an all around Amazing experience! Canyon Lake Auto is the best shop around, period. Took my car to perris valley Kia service department 15 days ago and my car fell apart while I was driving it. After getting it towed there by Nick the service manager, Chris the service tech was very nonchalant and not very concerned about getting it fixed which was quite shocking seeing that he was the original service advisor. This place is just terrible and I will never take my car there again. Ps its still there and I was told that they don't know when they will get a chance to fix it. Ridiculous right?

Advantage Automotive diagnosed my problem, explained the repair needed and had the job done in the time and cost quoted. After being told I needed brakes at another automotive shop Advantage Automotive blew out the brake dust which stopped the squeaking and told me I had another 40K miles left. This shop seems to be looking for long term clients as they didn't go after the quick money selling me brakes I didn't need. I recommend Advantage Automotive. Philip Piel, Canyon Lake

The worst mechanic I have ever had service done at. My car shut off and wouldn’t start and I called because my car wouldn’t start and I didn’t feel safe driving it “well you can tow it” I already didn’t want to go in because of the service even though they have a tow flat, but parents insisted. I was first told it was the alternator and battery, over $800. Two days later the car did the same thing. I called after a couple days to check on the car, Mark answers and is the snottiest person I’ve ever spoke to. “Didn’t you just call on Friday?!” So tf if I did you’re being paid for the SECOND time for the same issue and he charged us another $200* dollars for a throttle cleaning. My car is now even worse after this jerk worked on it, I refuse to let him touch it again. When I get gas now the car will not start and the car is still having the same problem but worse. He is incompetent, rude and a con artist. I will never recommend anyone to this joke of a mechanic. If you want to lose over 1k and your car come out worse this is the place. Im pissed.
