Overall very satisfied with my experience with Oakdale Garage. Vehicle repairs were performed in a professional, knowledgeable and timely manner. My vehicle is performing as expected. Tommy did an amazing job explaining to me the repairs my vehicle needed. He also kept me informed of my vehicles status and thoroughly explained recommended service/ maintenance recommendations. Its nice to finally find a Garage that I cant trust to provide quality service and repairs at a reasonable cost. I restored a 1970 BMW. This shop disassembled the transmission and reassembled it. I asked them to replace seals, fluids and let me know if there were issues. They I paid them to install the transmission as we had issues connecting it to the engine. I was charged about $1500 for the work. We got the engine working a few months ago and took it for a ride. The transmission leaks and the car will not go to second gear. I talked to Bud about it and he refused to work on it or refund money for the work. He blamed it on me and my car for some reason. I paid him what he asked. He told me to sue him if I wanted to get the money back. Worst car repair transaction I have ever experienced.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. On July 17, we dropped off our 150 due to a “service engine” light. Later that day we were told the catalytic converter needed to be replaced and was under warranty. He said it was ordered and the truck would be ready on the 20th. On the 20th we were told it would be ready on the 23rd. On the 23rd, we were told it SHOULD be ready on the 27. We were eventually told the part had NOT been ordered because the supplier was out?! Why had they given me three dates it would be ready then? After being given the runaround, I called Detroit (several times) and they found a cat converter two hours away! Tracy Ford told me they would have to drive it 50 miles to ensure the service engine light reset. They said they would also have to do a cold start the next morning at 7:00am when they opened and would call us when it was ready. They finally called at 7:46 and my wife went down to get it. The service manager had left (we heard that MANY times during the ordeal). The car rental that Tracy Ford had said they would cover was a whole different nightmare so I understand why other reviewers mentioned problems between Tracy Ford and car rental agencies. The final insult added to injury (I hope) is that the service manager PROMISED my wife that he had personally ensured that I would never hear from them again. After two e-mails and a phone call from them, I assume the ordeal is not over yet. My advice is to avoid Tracy Ford like the plague. I hope this is not the direction Ford Motor Company is heading.

Honestly, I am impressed with the care Ohana gave to my 2015 Acura RLX with 40,000 miles on it. I have lived in Stockton since 1975 and been to many auto shops over the years. Go in and meet RJ you will find right off the bat he doesn't play games. He only will do work on a vehicle according to the factory maintenance that's required by the manufactures book. I tried to cut corners on the lubricant used he showed me why not to do that and said he could only do it the right way I greatly appreciated the education. I am a very critical person and trust has to be earned with me. Ohana is the only shop I will take my Acura or Chevrolet 3500 Silverado 1 ton Dually to. give them a try they have EARNED my trust their prices are very reasonable too that's always a plus. My Acura is a expensive luxury car and Ohana returned it to me with no oil smears clean and windows washed. I appreciated that very much. very pleased client Michael Gomez

Nice guy but work was not great. Looked like there was no clear on my car. He said he used a dupont paint.... I didnt even know what that means until I asked a friend. I guess a cheap paint. =(

BUT THIS ISN'T THE TRUTH AT ALL. ISN'T THAT RIGHT ROGER. BECAUSE WHEN I TOOK MY CAR BACK TO YOU AND TOLD YOU ABOUT THE PROBLEM. YOU TOLD ME THAT IT WASN'T YOUR PROBLEM THAT IT WAS MINE. AND WHEN I SAID THAT I WOULD TAKE YOU TO COURT YOU SAID "SO WHAT" ALSO PLEASE CHECK ALL YOUR PAPER WORK BEFORE SINGING ANYTHING. READ ALL THE PAPER WORK REALLY GOOD BECAUSE ROGER WILL PUT ON THE PAPER WORK THAT YOU GAVE HIM A DOWN PAYMENT THATS LESS THEN WHAT YOU REALLY GAVE HIM. ROGER YOUR A THIFT, A LIAR, AND SCUM. ROBBED HER FOR A 900 DOLLARS THAT YOU POCKETED AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT THAT HER CAR WOULDN'T START. YOU TOLD HER TO LEAVE OR THAT YOU WOULD CALL I.N.S ON HER. I WAS A WITNESS TO THAT I JUST WISH SHE WOULD HAVE CALLED THE COPS ON YOU FOR SAYING THAT TO HER. SHE COULD HAVE SUED YOU AND I WISH SO BAD SHE WOULD.
