The moulding above the tire, under the rear door, and the bumper were broken loose. I took the car to the shop and it was clear that the owner (Ken Southers) was not willing to admit that his mechanic may have missed the last tire. He did ask when was the last time I had my timing belt changed!?!?!? I watched Ken take the car into the bay where he said he would look at it. He did not. I watched him through the window, situated between the lobby and the bays, and he never looked at the wheel. Rather, he chatted with an employee at the front of my car who simply took a lug wrench and tightened my NEWLY replaced and properly torqued wheel, then drove my car out of the bay and told me they didn't find anything. He asked what I wanted from him--I wanted reimbursement for my car expense and lost wages that day. Ken got defensive and began to blame me for the problem. He refused and the argument ensued. Basically, do not take your car to this deceptive, irresponsible shop. Ken will tell you one thing and do another. He clearly does not take responsibility for the average work done here. Luckily the water pump that he supposedly replaced started leaking and I figured out the timing belt wasn't done before it was too late. No telling how many times he's screwed me over the years. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Here's the deal... I took my Ferrari to Mondino based on recommendation. I needed the belts and hoses done, and dropped the car off with them. They did the work, and most things were done well, BUT, the job required that the top end be resealed, which included the distributors. I relocated to Oregon, and trailered the car. I put the car in storage for 6 months, while I was overseas in support of defense efforts, and when I returned I took the car for a drive. I drove less than 200 miles, and when I got home i noticed oil under the car. I took the car to the Ferrari dealer / service in Portland for a new clutch and to repair the oil leak. After they took the car apart, they showed me that the oil seals were replaced with inferior aftermarket seals, which caused the leak. Now, Mondino has a 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty, which I understand, but when they put inferior parts in the car, causing nearly a $1000 repair for work they had done, I believe it renders their warranty policy invalid. I have contacted them twice, and they refuse to reimburse me for the faulty service that had to be repaired, and tell me I need to bring the car back to them to fix it.
