Auto repair service near Ashford, CT

Bought a 2005 Ford Focus ZXW with (known issue) warped front rotors and was in need of an oil change (I agreed to doing these repairs for a lower price) Immediately after registering started having electrical issues.. Doors locking and unlocking while driving and within weeks the car is stalling whenever it feels fit (can only drive 20 or so minutes) and will not restart for hours.. Paid to replace MAF, AIC, Entire Intake manifold and fuel pump.. No solution.. So one Month later the car is parked and I am car shopping - Would NOT recommend to friends or enemies

Just had some rot work fixed on my 2001 Ford F150. I had been given a better (complete) quote from Maaco in West Springfield but elected to pay more for less at a local body shop, Entwistles. When they did their "free" safety check, they discovered another $800 dollars of mechanical work that should be done. My mistake again was to have them do it. After $4500, I don't have much to show, but empty pockets. My advice, don't be charmed by the owner, walk out and get a second opinion. Forgot to mention, they didn't even clean up the body work dust in the interior, or was the dirt off the exterior of the truck. Don't think I'll go back there again. My expensive mistake.

Today, I bought my very first new-used car at Shantok Motors. My sales rep. was Jay Wanczyk. He was totally professional and courteous - He made us feel like we were NOT being taken advantage of. He took care of the Motor Vehicle and everything else. The only thing we had to do was to sign on the bottom line. How simple is that. Thanks Jay!!

i used to buy cars for big names like balise and curry but this time i decided to brake the routine and try small business and went to thoese guys wheels and deals auto since i pass buy this place every day i see them moving cars all the time every time i look i see new cars....so i decided to stop to get my next car from them...sure enough respectfull and elpfull also the best thing is he sound he know what he is talking about...after back and forth few times i kinda liked them and bought a car from them and i do not regret...9 months now and still going nock on wood no problemo baby....yes i will go there all the time and sure enough the same one or tow ppl that i dealt with!!!great place to do business with.

I've always wanted a subaru, I came 3 days ago and was helped by an older gentleman named Rob (the worst) his attitude was crappie and he allowed me to circle the parking lot for a test drive ?? I guess he didn't think I was going to buy anything so his enthusiasm was not with me. I spoke Chris the manager (just as bad) he apologized for Rob but acted just like him. I had a check and in a very ugly manner he continued to ask am I sure it's a check as if I wasn't knowledgeable. I put down a $2500 deposit for the car and asked could they detail the car and I come tomorrow to start the paperwork. Day 2 I arrive and no paperwork has been started nor was the car detailed. I called in (better experience) I met with Roje very cool, nice and put my needs first. He made me feel good about spending my money. Very enthusiastic and respectful. After arrival I was informed that my deposit was canceled that was why no paperwork had been started. I began to leave the dealership and Roje assured he would help me and that there wouldn't be anymore issues but I had to return back to the dealership the following day. Day 3 I received a call of confirmation from Roje and upon arrival he made sure that everything that was supposed to be done on Day 2 was completed. Update: Having a check from Navy Federal and not financing with them, now I'm being told that I have to wait 5-10 business days for the check to clear before I can drive off the lot with the car, AFTER signing EVERYTHING, switching my insurance, plate transfer, etc... I am going to cancel this deal and bring my business elsewhere. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP... Update: so my back sent confirmation that the check was paid, as requested now I'm getting the run around about picking up the car when the financing department can verify the funds. Everything in me is saying don't get this vehicle from this dealership. Very unprofessional. The ridiculousness with Bertera is definitely an experience NO ONE SHOULD HAVE WHEN BUYING A NEW CAR. Noone at that dealership is commendable. 10/11 I go back for a speaker upgrade system in my 2021 forester sport only to learn that they upgraded the two front speakers. This was a terrible experience. I will be filling a complaint with the BBB and CPFB
