I took my van in for an oil change but they forgot to put new oil in. As I was driving home, I heard a ticking noise. I didn't know what that ticking noise was. So when I got home I told my husband about the ticking noise. My husband lifted up the hood and checked to see if I had oil in my van. My husband knew what the ticking noise meant, that there wasn't any oil in it. Sure enough! There wasn't any oil in it!! So I went to Midas in Westfield,MA to get an oil change and they ruined my engine. I still had a van payment. We had to junk our van because Midas ruined my engine!! It was Awful because I had to pay off my van and couldn't even drive it because the engine was ruined!! I still owed $6,000.00 and had to make the payments to save my credit even though it was in the junk yard!! When I contacted Midas about this they gave me a $800.00 to compensate me for my mechanic bills because of this but they didn't offer to pay off my van even though it was their fault!! Buyer Beware!!! I couldn't find a lawyer that wanted to take on the case because Midas went out of business. They said that there wasn't anything they could do because of Midas going out of business. So I got totally screwed!!! Well, now I see that Midas in Westfield, MA is back in business so I'm not sure if it has new owners but I just want to share my story with you just to warn you!!

Went in for an emission test this morning and was greeted with a very professional receptionist and service person. My car was done within 20 minutes. Thank you for taking me so quickly!

My sister was shopping for a used car that fit her price range. She found one and took it for a test drive. While on the drive, the car began shaking and the C.E.L. (Check Engine Light) came on. The mechanic on the drive said they would check everything on the vehicle, repair it, and then give it to her. The next day she went to pick it up, no light on, but drove a few miles away and the light came back, it began shaking again. The dealer was already closed, so she brought it Meineke who diagnosed many issues with the vehicle and said that the dealer only turned off the light. DO NOT SHOP THERE. They provide unsafe vehicles, they are a CHOP SHOP!

I Requested That He Place An Order For 4 Tires And I Will Be There At The Appointed Time For Installation. Upon My Arrival He Proceeds To Dismount My Wheels Only To Find Out He Received The Incorrect Size From The Distributor. Inspection 101 Dictates That You Make Sure That You Verify That You Have Received What You Ordered Before You Call The Customer...After Leaving Work Early, Driving 50 Miles He Says To My Dismay "I Have All Of The Money I Will Ever Need And I Don't Need To Kiss Your AS*...If You Do Not Want To Patronize My Establishment You Can Go Elsewhere"...A Wonderful Attitude And Way To Treat A Valued Customer Of 13 Years...His Partner Penny Is A Wonderful Caring Person....That Being Said; If Gary Is Still Part Of The Business, You Would Be Better Off Finding Another Establishment To Do Business With As He Has All The Money He Will Ever Need And Does Not Need Yours. The Happy Ending Of The Story Is I Was Able To Obtain The Correct Size Of The Tires I Wanted For $50.00 Less Including A Free Alignment From A Reputable Establishment Who Recognizes The Importance Of Customer Service. Scotts auto repair provides excellent service. I have brought two of my cars to him for service, and will continue to go to him for whatever my repair needs are. I have referred a couple of friends and family to him and they to are very pleased with the service and the pricing. He's not out to rip people off and is very honest on how he charges people for his work. He even takes the time to go over the vehicle completely and inform you on what else may need to be done.
