I brought my S-10 blazer in that you folks had repaired the AC before. It still was not blowing correctly. You said that it would cost me $800 just to diagnose the problem I took it to another AC place and it was just vacuum hoses that were disconnected and they charge me 60 you tried to rip me off and this isn’t the first time. Apparently this is happened with you because I had them review other things that you did and they were not fixed. I am contacting a lawyer and the BBB.

Excellent service. The AC stopped working on our BMW on the drive down from Va. coincidentally we drove by Tropical Auto Air and saw people working and drove in to see if they could help. The mechanic immediately checked and fixed the AC even though they were not really open. As we were desperate, they could have gauged us, but charged a very fair price - $45!

I was skeptical when my starter went out at work because my regular mechanic happened to be on vacation, and my towing coverage would not cover towing my car all the way to his shop. I needed my car fixed locally and the same day so I could drive it home. I had AAA tow it to Pep Boys and was really worried about the repair. It was going to be quite expensive and I had never used them before. My concerns were unwarranted though, because they did a great job, had my car done in plenty of time for me to pick it up before the end of my day, and the pricing even came in a bit lower than quoted. Very happy with Pep Boys and will continue to give them my business whenever I need parts or services!

they came out and replaced our windshield after another "nationwide company" came out to do it the first time. It leaked and it made whistling noise. Now its perfect! Thanks guys!!

Thank you guys for helping me with all my car problems. Michael and his sons run a class operation. Their customer service and attention to detail are the reason they have been in the business for so long. It's nice to see that an old fashioned family operation can still thrive in the day and age of corporate stores. If you have any automotive problems or questions, I suggest you contact them. Most likely they can fix it and if they can't they will shoot you straight and send you to someone who can. In the automotive industry, where none of us "civilians" have a clue what makes our cars run, HONESTY is priceless. These guys have the goods!

Brought Chevy Astro van in on April 6th after having another shop install an electric fuel pump. Upon leaving the other shop the vehicle stalled a number of times creating a very dangerous traffic situation. The van did need a fuel pump but after the other shop completed the work the problems really started only after leaving and going a few blocks. I had managed to pull over and call them (at 4:45pm) and was told they could do nothing but told me of Walt's. Being only a few blocks from the shop I managed to get the van there where I was told they would check it out the next day. They contacted me prior to closing at 12:00pm and said it was more serious than first thought. After a series of tests etc. it was deter- mined I had not only a computer problem but injector and alternator issues. Long story short, they fixed everything and got the vehicle back better than new and even made an "adjustment" on my bill to offset the time it took to get it right. Paul saved us! He got to us within 30 minutes of our call and had us on the road within another 30. His charge for the services were completely fair...especially being a Sunday! He was a great guy and we HIGHLY recommend him...we liked him so much we invited Paul in to have lunch with us!

I really wanted to keep my dollars from going to Best Buy for a stereo installation I was having done. I told Don that he could have my business if he could undercut them. After two phone conversations about my specific job I decided to let him do it. I really had a bad feeling about his attitude after our talks as he is technically professional, but very much on the short and rude side of that coin. On the day of, I bring him my car and my own purchased items, and he looks at me like he is clueless as to why I'm there. I also wanted to reverify that I would be able to make an appointment in 3.5 hours from now. He responded with a "ya I know, ya told me" as he walked away with his back to me. His shop was very uninviting with an awful stench and typical self owned business signs hanging saying, "this is not Burger King, you don't get it your way" and the like. With all of this I was a breath away from saying "this isn't going to work", and pulling the plug and taking my car elsewhere. All I was hoping was he didn't make me regret not leaving. I sat for 3.25 hours straight w/o a single word or update, with my next appointment approaching. He came out I paid and we spoke a minute, when I inquired about a specific detail of the job he of course spoke to me in a very condescending manner. All told the job was done perfectly to my estimation. However, I can't understand with the way small business owners are losing business to big box entities, that he wouldn't be bending over backwards to promote his establishment in a friendly manner. The other reports of his attitude are definitely true, and the final bill was the same as Best Buy, so I am just happy I got the job done first time. I would not return.

The people who work the desk don’t seem too concerned about my repair. In fact not impressed with their “can’t do” attitude as they laughed about their in-ability to acquire parts for my damaged auto, and they don’t seem too concerned. If I was a NASCAR dignitary, politician, or associate of a Florida college my auto would have been repaired very quickly.

MY REPLY WAS "FORGET IT I'LL GET THEM ON LINE". SO I WASTED 2 DAYS AND 6 GAL OF GAS. I WENT HOME AND GOT ON MY COMPUTER AND FOUND S.D.TRUCK SPRINGS. I PLACED MY ORDER AND GOT THE SPRINGS IN 3 DAYS BRAND NEW $75.00 EACH + ($56.00 SHIPPING) W/BUSHINGS ALREADY TO GO. THAT WAS A GOOD LESSON FOR ME AND MY FRIENDS. Last week, I went in to ascertain the need to have a front left halo light for a lamp replaced and based on what I was advised three times, The Body Werks did not confirm the workmanship of their work as well as the condition of the parts that were installed for the front left light assembly. I have thoroughly re-reviewed their cost estimate as well. The Body Werks failed to detail, both in photographic proof and based on their estimate, the condition of the left light assembly as well as provide photographic proof of the installation of the bottom portion of the front bumper. Additionally, I did not sign and release the condition of their work as The Body Werks gave me their estimate and indicated that the work was paid for and nothing more. Their estimate and the completion of your work was never signed by me nor was it certified by me that it was completed. The work was paid for and I went on my way without any guarantees from The Body Werks that the light assembly was in good condition based on their warranties as well as the re-assembly of the front right bumper. Due to this indisputable fact, as well as the indisputable fact that has now been verified by the same mechanic who has stated three times that the front bumper was indeed tied on and that the front light assembly is not what was stated on this receipt, The Body Werks is liable for the workmanship and the condition of the light assembly because frankly your company never verified the workmanship of the bumper as well as the condition of the light assembly as clearly stated on your estimate. Finally, I am not willing to allow The Body Werks to fix their mistakes for reasons that are obvious since it took two years after the fact to learn that they improperly installed the bottom section of the front bumper and clearly did not inspect or take any photographs of the light assembly that they installed to show what the condition of the back of the assembly. In no way, shape or form would I ever allow The Body Werkz to touch my car and fix your mistakes. The mechanic that inspected both the front bumper and saw what he saw as well as advised me on the condition of the back part of the light assembly and the assembly of the bumper was due to your work. That is not on them and it is definitely not on me. I am not looking for any financial return as what was insinuated either. Their work was poor and that is not coming from me - it is coming from the mechanic who has clearly reiterated what he saw and I can assure you that the mechanic is telling me the truth. Finally - I just spoke with Dan Fields of Fields BMW. I was advised by The Body Works and their owner that they did all of Fields BMW body work of Daytona Beach when I came in two years ago. That was a blatant misrepresentation on their part and they can be sure that they will be held into account for it.
