I reached out to Jeff Davis Automative and they were efficient, timely, and most importantly very honest and kind. Their prices are also more than reasonable. Highly, highly recommend!

WENT TO GARAGE IN FEB. WITH A BAD BRAKE PAD RUBBING ROTOR. JUST WANTED... read more WENT TO GARAGE IN FEB. WITH A BAD BRAKE PAD RUBBING ROTOR. JUST WANTED A NEW PAD. THEY SAID THE ROTOR WAS DAMAGED AND NEEDED REPLACED WHICH WAS O.K BUT BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO GET CAR OUT OF GARAGE THE SAID THAT IT WOULD BE TWO DANGEROUS TO JUST REPLACE ONE ROTOR AND EVENTUALLY TALKED ME INTO ALL NEW BRAKES ROTORS AND CALIBERS FOR ABOUT $1300. I AM OUT OF STATE AND MY WIFE WENT TO FLORIDA IN MAY AND DROVE CARE FOR A WEEK AND SAID THAT WHEN SHE BACKED UP THERE WAS A NOISE COMING FROM THE BRAKES. I CALLED STUARTS TO PICK UP CAR AND CHECK OUT NOISE SINCE THEY JUST WORKED ON THE BRAKES. TOLD THEM WERE TO FIND KEY AND THEY PICKED UP CAR AND CALLED TO TELL ME THAT THE CAR HAD NO BRAKES AND THAT THE LINES WERE LEAKING AND THE POWER STEERING LINES WERE LEAKING AND THAT THEY HAD TO TOW THE CARE TO GARAGE AND THAT IT WILL TAKE A COUPLE THOUSAND DOLLARS TO FIX IT. THEY WANTED ME TO GIVE O.K BUT I TOLD THEM TO TAKE BACK TO THE CONDO. THEY SAY IT WILL NEED TO BE TOWED BACK. WE HAD WORDS ON THE PHONE AND THE OWNER HANG UP. I AM NOT SURE WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN. THE ISSUE IS STILL UNRESOLVED BUT I AM SURE THEY ARE GOING TO WANT TOWING BILLS AND CONSIDERABLE MONEY JUST FROM TALKING TO HIM ON PHONE. I DIDN'T GIVE PERMISSION TO TOW CAR AND ONLY WANTED A NOISE LOOKED AT AND I AM SURE THAT THE NOISE WAS ONLY THE TIN BACKING PLATE ON THE ROTOR RUBBING THE ROTOR.
