On October 30th we arrived in New Orleans in a BMW M6 with AC and brake problems. After reading the lousy reviews of the dealer, on a whim ( this was a Sunday afternoon) I caller Raz at Briskers and surprise... he answered the phone. I told him about my problems and he said to bring it over and he would look at it. This was important as we only planned to be in New Orleans for 3 days, leaving Wednesday AM. He diagnosed the problems, we left the car and Tuesaday noon the car was ready. Professionally done. If I lived in NOLA he would be the only place I went for my srevice. Great service, great guy. Stay away from this guy he charged me 1000.00 for some repairs my truck broke down two weeks later on the first long drive I took it on due to the fact his mechanic installed a part backwards and damaged another part while making repairs. He would not honor parts and labor warranty it cost me another 1000.00 in repairs and towing. Stay away!

Its truly sad when you think you're in good hands, I only blame Lorraine in collision, for lying to us and trying to pass a car inspection, when she knew it was not completed. I brought my car their because, it was highly recommended. Its been 5 months and the car is returning because Lorraine said it was fixed. If its not corrected I will take further action! I wouldn't recommend collision for anything, and she was well aware of this problem. I'm in shock that they have her in charge. i will continue to write reviews until this matter is corrected.

I don't doubt the mechanic. He answered all questions honestly and competently. I was shopping around and asked another shop specializing in German cars and he gave me the book hours. This was reasonably within limit of what the mechanic of German Auto stated. But when it was time for the bill, I find that the man hour billed was on the very high extreme of what the book hour stated. And when I asked him about this "pipe rerouting" that the mechanic told me was just lifting a series of pipe higher because it was scraping the concrete, he said he had "forgotten" that the mechanic had reduced the hour needed. Really? from 1.6 hrs to 1.0 hr to lift a few tubes a few inches higher? This is also not "rerouting" as he told me over the phone. The owner after I caught this, quickly told his secretary that he was going to take an early lunch. I can tell you that this is the LAST time anyone I know will be bringing a car to this shop. Its not because of the mechanic. He was actually the reason why I was fine w/ leaving my car there initially. The owner is untrustworthy, and if my car wasn't already worked when I started dealing w/ this owner, I would've switched shop immediately.

Fastint's owner, Pam Todaro's husband Russell Todaro Sr. of Marrero, LA is claiming to be restoring early Ford Broncos in the New Orleans area. I bought a 1974 Ford Bronco from them and had Fastint (supposedly) make some upgrades. Russell Todaro Sr. is the lead mechanic at Fastint and didn't do the work we agreed on and that I paid for. The work they did do was poor to say the least. Russell Todaro Sr. claimed the vehicle was in working condition. I test drove it but this was my first Bronco, so I didn't know any better. I made the stupid mistake of purchasing it without having a mechanic look at it, but I was only in town for a short time. My only condition for purchase was that it was safe to drive to my mechanic. I only had to drive it 30 miles to my mechanic for a full review, but when I got the car, the breaks didn't work hardly at all and it was a mess. This I found out when I was driving. I took his word for this and he is totally full of BS. His word means nothing. The paint job they did at Fastint was horrible. It is cracking constantly now and leaves paint color residue whenever I dry it with a towel. They tried to replace some rust spots by screwing in the metal plates. I would stay away from them for any paint work, body work, and especially any early Ford Bronco or restoration work. When I asked him why he didn't do what he said he was going to do, he said it was not his problem. By that time, the car was already too far away and I wouldn't want him touching it again anyway. I finally got it fixed by real mechanics and I love it.
