James and staff are top notch. This is the first time I have taken my car to anyone except the dealer and I was pleased to see that their service far surpassed (any) dealer I have gone to. They are into details: from little things like leaving a small (branded) hand sanitizer bottle in the car to the car being washed and the engine being steam cleaned. The icing on the cake was the fact that they came in under the initial estimate and James, the owner walked me through what was done. Lastly, I received a call the following morning from his courteous staff asking if everything was all right and was the car was performing as expected. Steve at STS has been the only mechanic to work on and service my vehicles. Why? Because his thorough diagnostics are explained in clear and relevant terms. STS's labor rates are competitive with the industry but he always charges by the actual time it takes vs. rounding up the hours like most shops. He'll provide prioritization on what is really in need to be fixed as opposed to fixing and charging for everything in and around the effected area. The markup on materials is minimal if anything at all. His warranty on the work performed is always covered if needed at all.
