They will exploit those damaged/failing parts and cause further damage to them. It seems to be part of a ploy to generate revenue for their shop because they will then try to get you to make the repairs there. Don’t expect any accountability either…. They seem to have temporary amnesia when confronted about damage that they were clearly responsible for. Alan Symmes and company - stop believing that each customer that steps foot in your shop, is as naïve as you paint them to be. These are the types of mechanics that will pull the bait and switch on you, if presented with the opportunity…. You know, replacing your new parts in working condition with used/failing parts to swindle honest customers out of their own money.

I took my car to Mikes Auto Repair for new brake pads and rotor replacement because his rputation online, he was helpful on the phone and he quoted what sounded like a fair price. Mike continued to impress with his warm and helpful customer service, putting my car on his lift immediately, showing me everything he saw, and walking me through the alternatives. He was able to get the appropriate parts in ten minutes and get right to work, and he had my car finished in less than three hours. He even took a test ride with me to ensure everything was to my satisfaction.

I spotted the Alpha-Omega sign on my way home where I usually had traveled this path many times back and forth without even noticing it. A smiley faced fellow looked on the smashed roof of my truck and in 4 minutes gave me a precise estimation, making a telephone call to the supplier asking for availability of the part, its price and delivery time. The total was well below the estimation of my insurance. I asked Hovie (that was the smiling fellow’s name) if it was possible to wrap up the work in four days. He said that he would do his best. Everything was done on the third day. My truck was stamped with a smile and we (my truck and I) both left smiling. Later I figured out that Hovie worked until very late at night in order to finish the work on time. On the first evening after I gave Hovie “the go ahead”, I decided to check out the references and reviews that customers wrote. There were none! Moreover the telephone number was different than the one on Hovie's business card. “Y-y-yah”, I said to myself, “what a wonderful world… again”. To make a long story short, Hovie along with his partner recently purchased this business and they are doing very well. The parking lot is filled with exotic cars like a 1965 Mercedes Benz, other Mercedes models with carburetors before the era of fuel injection and distributors before the era of electronic ignition. And all these beauties were shining and… smiling. They also do mechanical work. Ladies and Gentlemen, the all would be happy clients of Alpha-Omega, I will be back not necessarily as a customer if the problem arises again, but simply as a friendly visitor. Hands down the best service out there!! My wife and I have been going here for the last 4 years the people are great..Derrick even checked out a used car for us FREE OF CHARGE! He said it was bulletproof and 3 years later it still is! We moved to boston a few years back and still make the 40 min trek up to Randolph when we are having trouble with our vehicle. I was told about this place from a coworker who raved at his honesty and technical knowledge. Also our vehicle maintainece guy also said he was good. I dropped my truck off to have a boched job that another place did, he had me straightened out in short order and the bill was reasonable. Definitley use them again!
