Auto repair service near Oxford, MI

My husband bought a Cobalt there and after having it less than 2 months his transmission went out. 1400 in repairs on a car he just got. I had also purchased a Jeep there a month after my husband got his car and now my Jeep is having electrical problems and Ive had it less than a month, my dome lights are constantly on and none of my windows work. Two bad cars from this dealership. And when I called to see if he could help all he said was he could take it to his mechanic but id still have to pay for it. I shouldn't be making huge repairs to cars we just purchased. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else, Id hate to have anyone else go through this.

Had a real rough one… ac didn’t work and we thought we would live with it. When the compressor seized and smoked off the belt we had to get it replaced. Joe got us in quickly and done ahead of schedule!! We wanted to go out of town and we were pushing it, but they got it done earlier then originally planned!! Thanks guys!! Now our car seems to blow ice cubes out of the vents!!

I took my car in because the transmission blew. The mechanics there were very friendly & helpful. Not only did the replace my transmission & provided me a warranty, but they fixed a few minor things at no cost to me. They are very honest and my car was even repaired before they said it would be finished. I highly recommend Kret's Garage!

I have been going to guys for all kinds auto repairs for at least six years, I have also referred so many of my friends and family to them. To my greatest surprise and shock, I just found out that they are frauds, cheats and liars and have deceived my family and friends that I have over the years sent to them. I sent a vehicle to them for repair this month, Sam, one of the owners called me back and said it was going to cost $2200.00 parts and labor. I was taken aback at that quote. I would have agreed, but something in me this time said NO!. I went back the next day and picked up my car from them and gave it to another mechanic that I hardly knew. They charged me $900.00 with the same parts and labor including two brand new tires. Please be careful with these guys, they fooled me for years. Always seek for a second opinion. This shop is as dishonest as they come, they offered me a repair on a part that don't even exist on my car!!! I was told the module that's built inside my fan motor was bad so they needed to replace the whole fan assembly for a large sum, the problem with that is there is no module inside the fan & the module is bolted to the exterior of the fan and easily replaced as a stand alone part. Once confronted I was told a fan motor and a module are the same ?? so not only is this shop obviously incompetent but also very crooked. Do yourself a favor go elsewhere

Thank you Larry! For the great outstanding hassle free service that Michigan Motor Exchange provided to our company. You did everything that you said you do and more. I admit that I was a little skeptical at first about taking the route of a remanufactured motor over a new vehicle due to the poor service and broken promises that many service providers give today. However Larry you did right by us. Not only did we get 1 reman but we got 2 which saved us a lot of money as opposed to the route of brand new vehicles. They look good they run great and we're saving a lot of cash on insurance. Thanks again, Tony
