Took off to hit the trails with the wheeler to feel it pull. Looked back and tire is really low. Found it was cut from a rock. Loaded back up and stopped in and talked to Todd. Had us fixed up in 30 min. Back to the trails for our ten day trip with no trouble. Absolutely best service and price. Also a great collection of car and service center objects. A must see for any car lover. Thanks to Todd and his team for the great service and getting us back in the trails. Highly recommended and will be back. Jeff

Quoted $352.96 for an Evap Purge error as a "starting point" to solve the problem. Mechanic down the road said to go to O'Reilly to get the $30 part and do the 15 minute repair. Problem solved. Not happy with the attempted scam. I can see why Facebook forum says how bad this place is.

On August 10, 2012, I purchased a ShoreStation boat lift and canopy from the owner of J & R Auto, Rich Rasmusson for the amount of $1800.00. Rich convinced us of what an excellent deal we were getting, however, when we got the lift home and began to assemble it, there was a piece missing, which makes the canopy useless. I immediately contacted Rich, who repeatedly promised to resolve the problem over the course of the next month. However, as the weeks stretched on, and I continued to be persistent, Rich began to change his tune, and say the missing piece was not his reponsibility. Today, after 6 weeks of giving me the run-around, on 9/22/2012, Rich told me he has no intention of getting me the piece, or refunding some money that I may purchase the piece myself.

Took in my motorcycle for repair in September, 2012. He accepted the repair but has not repaired the motorcycle or returned it. It is now June 19, 2013. He has not returned my calls, texts or even a visit to the shop and home. He is ignoring all requests for contact and response to me. He still has my motorcycle and I do not. I suppose I will need to work legal methods to resolve this issue.

I called on a Shuttle Bus they had listed on Craigslist. I was told $16,500 over the phone. I was prepared to offer $15,700 upon arrival. They pulled the classic "bait and switch." The price changed to $18,800 ($20,400 with tax, title, license, etc.). I agreed with the salesman upon $19,355 to close the deal. Salesman Brad did a great job (nice guy) discussing his knowledge of the bus. The manager Mike agreed upon the $19,355. A phone call to the owner netted a response of $22,000 plus taxes, etc. I finally offered $20,000 "out the door" including an oil change, transmission fluid drain/fill, and a decent wipe down of the interior. They still didn't do the deal. This shop has poor ownership and utilizes slimy used car tactics. I will not be buying the bus unless they honor the 19,355 price originally agreed upon. It's implied the owner will call on Tuesday.

I would not buy a car from them. I purchased a car, which they advertised as a low mileage, dependable car and since I have purchased it I have had nothing but problems with it. They were not interested in helping me out at all. In addition it took over 4 months to get the title, infact I am still waiting for the title.

Working with Dewey's team is great. I have been bringing my vehicles to Genes for 25 plus years. They only charge for what they repair. They only repair what needs to be repaired and they charge a reasonable rate.
