I'm so happy I have Inter Shop to take care of my car. The car has run better since the very first service at Inter Shop and the cost of maintenance is less. I had been using the dealer and then AAA and both of them were more expensive. Also, Inter Shop does not try to talk me into getting things fixed before they need to be fixed, or try to sell me upgraded services that I really don't need. Because I was so pleased with my personal car experience with Inter Shop, I arranged to have my work vehicle serviced there, and saw the same benefits in cost and performance. Also, they diagnosed and fixed a problem with the work van that could have caused a terrible accident - and the problem was not a new one. Yay, Inter Shop!

My husband's antique 92 Porsche. They took 5000 to fix oil leak and a YEAR LATER, returned the car, no money, threw up their hands and said they cany do anything else. My husband is a self made mechanic, he has been fixing it himself. We have photo proof that these guys scammed us out of a lot of money. They didnt do work we paid for. A law suit is coming. This place is trash. The car returned to us much worse than when they took it in. Obvious when doing the work that they lied lied on top of lies. Cant wait to sue.

attendants were rude. older woman that worked there was very rude to me. went another time younger girl with brown and grey hair with tattoos on her neck was extremly rude and grabbed money out of my hand and dropped my change on the counter instead of handing it to me. new pumps dont work properly and the act like the customer is stupid for the pumps not working right. i will not be going back here again and complained to company

Today, I went to vacuum my car at this service station. I put in $1.50 and the machine did not work. I then went inside to tell the cashier and asked for my money back. He said he didn't know if he could do this...had to check with the manager. I tried to wait patiently while he was assisting other customers and finally I got my turn. The result, the company who owns the vacuum machine will need to send me a refund check for $1.50! I'm not sure why this policy is in place when it was determined the vacuum was not working -- why not just give me the $1.50? In addition, regularly, many pumps are out of order. I go to this station for the proximity to my house but I am very disappointed in how it is run.

I took my car to Midas at 5526 Carolina Beach Rd., Wilmington, NC 28412 on Thursday, May 19, 2016 for an oil change and inspection, I came away with a dented hood and a horrid customer service experience. They claim they did not dent my hood and that it looked like someone had sat on it. It’s funny, the dent was “up.” It was from the inside… Looked to me like they may have accidentally shut the hood with something left on the engine block. The dent certainly wasn’t there before I took my car in. I had not even driven the car to any public places before noticing the dent and I live in a private area. So, certainly it wasn’t sat on as they claim. What really gets me though is the way they handled the situation. I went to the shop first thing Monday morning and was told the owner would have to handle it and that he would call me back later that day. There was no phone call. Tuesday morning came - no phone call, so I called them back again. I was told that he would call me back. Again, no phone call. Finally, Wednesday morning I stopped by the shop to see the owner, but he was apparently out. Made an appointment to see him personally Thursday morning (May 26th) at 9am and surprise, surprise… he never showed up! Instead two employees came out to take a look. This is where things really took a turn for the worst. I was belittled and told that I was a liar. In there “vast” experience of car repair no one had ever “accused” them of damaging their car. I was calm and collected about it, but they raised their voices and became very hostile and accusatory. It’s funny, because I went out of my way to go to that particular Midas because I was always happy with the customer service and their speed at getting things done. Their customer service (Ryan Hoffman) really took a turn when it was me asking them to make things right. He was really defensive and accusatory about the whole thing and really made me feel berated. I’m still waiting on a phone call from the owner to at least apologize or even acknowledge my situation, but given his track record of not caring about his customers I doubt I will ever get that phone call. I never even did get the owner’s name. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from Midas on Carolina Beach Road in Wilmington! They are disrespectful and dishonest! Now, I get to think about them every time I get in my car and the couple hundred dollars of damage that they did to it while it was in their care. I’ve filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Midas Corporate and the NC Department of Justice.
