We purchased a car for my daughter. within 24 hours, we had a problem with the car. We were concerned about its safety based on how it was driving. Since we are two hours away from this dealer, it was not reasonable to bring it back to them so we brought it to a local service center. They agreed it was not safe to drive without checking it out thoroughly. Their person who power washed the car, got water in the area of the spark plugs. We needed to make sure water didn't seep underneath. Autos Unlimited tried to talk us in to drying it from the outside but not opening it up to make sure there was no water underneath. We were not going to allow our 20 yr old daughter drive a car we were not sure was safe. It turns out, there was nothing was seriously wrong with the car and it only cost $45 (+ our time and aggravation) for them to repair the issue. We faxed the invoice to the dealer and told them we expected them to pay fora the repair since it was their fault and the car was under the 30 day warranty, but they still have not paid the $45 bill. We have called and faxed but no action on their part. I would never buy another car from them.

I have used Windham Mobile for years, approaching 18 now, and keep coming back. Doug and his crew always do an excellent job working on three separate cars and one pickup over those years. I do my own oil changes and spark plug replacements, but more involved work like surpentine belts, tranny and radiator fluid changes and the occasional real problem with a vehicle, I leave to them knowing the work will be done well and at reasonable, not cheap, but reasonable rates. Sometimes, I ask for the old parts, and when I do, they are there for me to look at and keep if I want. I have never been disappointed. I am writing this review because I need to have my tires changed over to snows for the winter, looked their number up on the internet to give them a call, came across the reviews, and figured I should throw in my two cents. CROOKS!! Joe belongs in jail! He is a liar and a thief! I bought a Durango a year ago from him and after months of fighting he finally took it back and NEVER made good on the refund owed to me, So he never gave me back the money owed to me and still has the Durango... Joe you are a Thief, you STOLE my money and the DURANGO!!! I am going to sue you! You have been ignoring me for way to long and I want my money back. Mike your no better!

this shop did over $5000 dollars damage to my ford f150 pu they called me to tell me my truck slid of lift damageing my bed owners son was very much careless attitude toward me in damage did not even apologize for the fool teck who did the damage they said we have insurance big deal my truck was never the same after they had it buyer beware think twice before you go there

I'm a single mom with 3 young kids. In the past when I had car problems it was always scary because they saw me coming and marked prices up and cost me money I didn't have. Recently my car was making screeching noises and my friend told me about a place they found called Lowell Automatic Transmission in Lowell. I was petrified to go because I don't have any extra money, but when I pulled in a nice worker showed me where to park and brought me in to the service area. When I explained the noises, they took my car in, without having an appointment. They had a cute waiting room with coffee, water, snacks, tv, wifi, like a dealer has. In just a little while Paul the service manager came to get me. He explained the car had decayed belts that needed replacement. When I asked how much it would cost, he told me No Charge! I was waiting for the 'catch', but there was no catch! This place is different! Not only did they change the belts, Paul told me they checked the fluids and topped them off at no charge too! They treated me like family, just like my friend said they would. Paul is awesome! I'm telling all my friends to go to this place. They didn't take advantage of me. In the future when my car acts up, I'm going there because I know they're fair and treat people with respect.

found this shop doing some online research. Small family run shop with attention to detail and very nice mechanic George. After visiting a few shops in wilmington that had mechanics who didnt seem like they cared about the customer, i found georges shop. Great guy, great work, fair prices!!
