Auto repair service near Merchantville, NJ

My truck had clunking noise. I already took it to 2 other shops and they couldn't figure out problem. Victor at Signature was able to diagnose and fix my truck the same day it was dropped off! He was very informative and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this shop and will return here if I need any additional repairs and for vehicle maintenance.

You know how this story ends, right? We bought a 2004 Cadillac SRX (a real beauty), 108,000 miles, paid cash and in full $11,995. A week later, brought it back b/c the engine was "noisy"; they kept it 2 days and returned it stating they didn't hear any "noise" and "maybe it's the transmission". We asked them to repair this under the 3 mo/3,000 warranty. They said it "had to breakdown first." Wow. Six-months later, THE ENGINE DIED. We called NATIONAL AUTO SALES to address this issue. We were told they were busy with customers, but what did we want from them. We told them we wanted them to remember we were once "customers" and to pay to replace the engine. They offered to do this "at cost"; we agreed that sounded good, but wanted OUR mechanic to install a QUALITY engine, given the circumstances. We asked for his name; he said "Mike"...we asked for his last name; he said "Just Mike". Now, we have not heard from "Just Mike" to make good on his offer. We are, however, going to pay to have a quality engine installed AND Carchex will put a 5yr/100,000 warranty on it. Total costs, which will become DAMAGES that we WILL seek to recover: minus $11,995 for a car with a DEAD ENGINE $4,250 for a quality engine installed, $2,875 for an extended warranty=$7,125. Expensive lesson... I AM NOT ALONE--OTHERS HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY NATIONAL AUTO SALES...IN THE SAME WAY. Buy the car, drive it a few months, and the ENGINE DIES. Don't become a victim. Cost was over $2,800. That is way too expensive for tires, brakes, inspection, and a tail light, nearly twice what I would have paid at my usual mechanic. As well, your shecanic didn't clear the dashboard codes so as soon as I drove 2 miles the dashboard warning light came on for the tires. Had to miss more work, return to your shop, to hear a lame excuse from your shecanic and to hear Jenny tell me "We aren't cheap" when I complained the cost was way too high. I told you on my very first visit last month that I was looking for a mechanic that could be trusted by my wife. You aren't it.

Bought the Truck off of E-Bay as a Serviced and Inspected Vehilce. 3 Hours after driving it home the brakes went on it. Vhehicle was brought to a reputable Ford dealership where the tires were taken off and brakes inspected. Dealership showed me the extent of the brakes, the Pads were crumbling off, the rotors were shot and the calipers frozen. Over $1000 to fix. Contacted Dimitry at J & H Auto Sales and all he could say is the Ford ealership was corrupt and he could get the parts cheaper but nothing was done. He spoke poor English and was impossible to communicate with. The next day the truck was fixed paying out of my pocket and the engine goes. The truck was towed back to the shop and this time the bill is $6,600 to fix and the warranty that J & H gave me with the truck doesnt cover anything. I have tried contacting them by phone, e-mail and text and I have received no help from J & H Auto Sales of Upper Darby PA.

Purchased car on ebay, listed as "drive it today". had shipped 300 miles away due to covid nonsense and upon delivery battery was dead...no big deal, replaced battery and took for a drive, noticed front end shake, took to garage where they found $2500 in repairs needed. Lower control Arm, Motor mounts broken, bad axle and airbag control module. this was just the safety defects...also needs water pump, brakes, belt, tires to name a few...has bolts missing underneath and so on. long story short, STAY AWAY!!! ripoff artists and cons...they should not be allowed to sell cars. and that is being kind....
