Auto repair service near Princeton, NJ

Not recommended at all. Horrible service. OVERPRICED. Go in for a tune-up and am told engine needs replacing???? What's up with that? Tom Matthews was very abrupt with us. Basically told us, we owed him $250 for a tune up without even letting us know price first but engine would only last a month or so. Disagree with Marlene for sure - NOT honest, polite or caring at all.

What an outstanding, ideal, model mechanic and business! After much research and speaking with several mechanics and repair techs, I found Walko Automotive to be the best solution to my bad hybrid battery. Walko Automotive helped replace my 2007 Toyota Prius battery in less than 2 hrs for THE MOST reasonable price. They offered a two year warranty and with their already outstanding business history, Master Tech certifications with hybrid vehicles (and any vehicle really), and a positive, family-oriented atmosphere, they were sure to deliver in every way you would expect the best and most trustworthy mechanic should. This is best auto repair shop I found in the area in terms of honesty and price and service! My break were changed quickly and efficiently, I highly recommend this shop and will use them for my needs from now on. And to top it off I got great snacks to take with me!

I have lived in this area for about six years and have tried as many mechanics. After searching for several years I stumbled upon AAMCO and more importantly Jerry the owner of this franchise. I only went here because of a Supersaver Discount I bought for here but I have remained long after it has been gone. Jerry is one of the few honest, down to earth mechanics left in the business. He tells you when things need to be replaced and when they can be stretched out, he really cares about his customers and his workers. His prices are more than fair and when I had my AC fixed and it stopped working I brought it in and he fixed within 24 hours. He stands behind his work and is a man of integrity anyone who comes here will be pleased with the work you get done!

These guys know what they are doing. On time service and affordable care for your auto, they went out of their way to make sure my issues were resolved. They balanced/aligned my ride better than any dealer will tell you they can do. They know how to service all makes and models, it is worth the trip even if you are not from the Monroe area. Had my car trunk painted recently. Extremely poor customer service. When I got the car back, the new paint was covered with scratches and swirl marks. It looked worse than the original 10 year old paint on the car. Took it back to them. They were rude and said this is how it is. If possible, avoid these crooks! INEXPERIENCED AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!
