We took our car into Louis Shorter to repair some body damage. Since we were on a budget we wanted to limit the work to what was necessary to make the car driveable and safe, Louis Shorter more than fulfilled our requirements. His original estimate was spot-on, he walked us around the car showing us exactly what he would need to do, and checking with us on optional work. He told us that he suspected there might be additional damage that was not visible until the bumpers were removed, and told us almost to the penny what the price would be if that was the case. He saved all damaged parrts. The final price was more than reasonable, and included washing the car. We ended up paying about $100 less than we had originslly expected, based upon other estimates. I highly recommend this business.

Unfortunately, I had to suffer a terrible experience with Jamro. Kevin, the owner, had his mechanic install an exhaust system & replace a clutch. The clutch was never put in correctly. There is about 5 inches between the clutch pedal and floor board. When engaging in gears, the whole dashboard shakes like hell. The exhaust system they installed I can hear a exhaust leaks. When I brought this to his attention before I left but after he got paid, he told me to drive it, see how it feels. any issues, bring it back. I told him as I was leaving, the clutch was not right and needed to be corrected but he insisted I bring it back another time. He just wanted to get paid and has no intention on fixing it ever. After hat terrible experience I went to a reputable shop in Rochester and they examined the clutch and said everything has to come out to see what he did wrong. The estimate was over $600! The exhaust system fix hasn’t even been determined yet. I will NEVER recommend this shop to anyone. It would be best if he just closed down shop before he finds himself in a civil suit.

Went in about 3 weeks ago for a new stereo with Carplay. They had an awesome Alpine unit that does everything I want, the employees were all very professional, Chris did a great job performing the installation and Travis had all the answers while getting me a great price. They were even able to make my factory reverse camera to work with the new radio. Cannot recommend them enough!

I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE TO JIMS SERVICE CENTER ON A RECOMENDATION FROM A FRIEND. I HAD BROUGHT MY 2008 GMC TO 3 SHOPS FOR THIS CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REPAIR TO NO AVAIL! NO ONE SEEMED TO BE ABLE TO REPAIR MY 2008 GMC INCLUDING THE DEALERSHIP. I ACTUALLY CONTEMPLATED TRADING IT IN ON A NEW TRUCK BECAUSE THE CHEVY DEALER SAID "WE CANT SEEM TO FIND THE PROBLEM" JIM AND HIS FORCE OF EXPERIENCED TECHS NOT ONLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM IN LESS THEN ONE HOUR AS IF IT WERE NOTHING AND THEY WERE USE TO SOLVING PROBLEMS OTHERS COULDNT. THE REPAIR WAS SO INEXPENSIVE I WAS SHOCKED THEY WERE HONEST , AND FRIENDLY AND I HAVE SINCE BEEN BACK 2 TIMES WITH OTHER VEHICLES IN MY FAMILY. I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR REPAIRS JIM AND HIS CREW ARE THE BEST !!!!

Missed diagnosed an AC problem. Replaced the compressor and did a complete AC service for $850 which only fixed the problem for one day! Returned five times in two weeks with the same AC problem as original problem. They finally found and diagnosed the problem was the electrical plug connector on the AC clutch. They replaced the connector with a used one and did a hack job of splicing the wires and covering with electrical tape. The owner would not admit they misdiagnosed the problem or offer a credit for the outrageous poor service. I should have gone to the Nissan dealer. Instead I paid $850 dollars more than I had to for a $5 dollar part. When I saw the hacked repair job I had to solder the the wires and seal with heat seal shrink tubing myself to prevent future corrosion. I would not recommend this shop or ever do business with them again even if I was broken down in front of their shop. Stay far away from this place......

I blew a tire out on the thruway. I called around and was told to call D and S within in an hour this young fellow arrived and had my tire changed in less than 45minutes. I was very pleased and would highly recommend D And S Sincerely Bill

Ripped me off. Failed to mention a "bring own part" fee of 100 dollars. Beware of snakes in the grass. Friendly chit caught me with my guard down. A real slick willy.

I have had continuing issues with the cheap locking system that came with 2003 Tiburons. I bought the car from Vision new. From day one it had quirky issues such as if the radio was off and I hit a good bump, the radio would come on. I ignored that, but then the locks started acting up. I even ignored the phantom door actuator on which would randomly flip the locks off and on like pinball machine flippers. The key VOBS continually died, the lock actuators on both doors eventually stopped working, the key locks on both became stiff and inoperable, and then the kicker, both door handles broke off like Doritos within a month of each other. I had to climb through the trunk to get into the car. Their service dept. wanted to charge hundreds of dollars to fix these issues which I should not have had. To replace one door handle with another cheap one, $200. To fix the other problems so passenger and I could simply enter the car would have been nearly $2,000. I would be embarrassed to sell a car with these problems, better yet try to extort customers for them. Vision should have done more to remedy the situation decently. I will never buy another Hyundai or another car from Vision.

This place is a total tip off! Rude, arrogant, liars, horrible experience. Snakes! Unbelievable that this company could possibly still be in business. I am taking them to court for doing work that was not authorized, and telling me they had to disable my Toyota key To install their own device otherwise I wouldn't be able to get in to my car while it was running?? My Toyota key still works but theirs does not. They refused to give me my keys unless I paid them an extra $162.00 in addition to the $100.00 I had already paid with a deal / purchase from amazon. I would have had them remove the whole thing but I didn't trust that they would have done so without reckless intentional damage! The way I was talked to and treated by the so called manager and owner is totally unacceptable. By the way he refused to give me his name!!!!! Are you kidding me?
