Was searching for a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI online and saw Huber's listed on the USAA and Carguru websites. Only problem was it was almost 2 hours away! The car's pictures, description and detail on the website made me give them a call. Eric Reder filled me in on the details over the phone and stressed how much work they put into the car before putting it on the lot. I was surprised to hear that because the car only had 36,000 miles on it! He also said that the car looks better in person than in pictures (he was right!). I drove out and met with Eric Huber and immediately hit it off with him- we are both VW guys. The car looked showroom condition (my wife said several times she can't believe its not new) but Huber's went over the car and performed all of the 40,000 mile services on it. The car is only at 36,000 miles! The point is, I think they could have just vacuumed it, washed it, put 2 tires on it and put it for sale, but Eric explained that most of his customers come there for follow up service and if I came back for the next oil change at 40,000 miles and he hit me with VW's recommended 40,000 mile service charge, I would undoubtedly be P.O'd since I just bought the car. And he's right. Eric showed me the list of all the work performed and gave me a copy for my records. Very impressed with that kind of thinking. Huber's is a full service car repair facility that also sells high quality used cars and they put good cars on the lot to keep their customers happy so they'll come back for service. Worked out well for me!

I recently bought a new(used) car here, and was VERY PLEASED! The car was priced less than blue book value and has thus far not given me the slightest problem. Eric was very open and honest about the condition of the vehicle and the work performed to make it sale ready. Great place to do business! :)

I just had my exhaust replaced on my pickup truck here at the Meineke Car Care Center in Ephrata Pa 17522 and I must say, I've had a lot of exhaust work done on many cars in my day and this place topped them all. I'm new to this area and was looking for a good place to go to get my muffler fixed. I definitely picked the right place. They are extremely friendly and professional. They showed me exactly what was wrong with my car and offered to fix it the very same day. I was so impressed that I will be taking my car there for everything including oil changes, inspections, etc. I definitely recommend this shop and won't be going anywhere else.

Recently, I made a huge mistake by purchasing a vehicle here. I bought a vehicle in "great condition" and was stupidly talked out of opting for any type of warranty since the dealer was supposedly going to bring it up to inspection before releasing it to me. Two months later it was finally "done"... and had nothing done to it. After buying it (for too much) I spent another $4,000 !!!! to repair or replace: Transmission, 4 struts, 2 axles, 2 hub bearings, 4 tires (he put the wrong size on, blamed a faulty sensor for the pressure light, and they blew), 2 new spark plugs, and the head gaskets. I could have bought a NEW vehicle for what I paid for this POS. And the whole time he insisted his mechanic checked everything, fixed everything. And the worst part, I now have no money and it's still not running as it should. I would never in good conscience let anyone buy a car, van, truck, even a bicycle from Second Chance Auto. Ever.

My wife and I bought a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with only 12,000 miles from Bob Fisher about 2 months ago. We started having problems with the starter about a month into owning it. When we contacted the dealership to setup Service, they told us that the car was not Certified Pre-Owned. The said they never had paperwork showing that it was. It was up to me to prove that it was. The Certified Pre-Owned feature was a selling point for the salesman. We still had all of the paperwork showing that it was under Warranty. I faxed them all of the paperwork that I had on Friday morning. On Monday, they said they never received it. It wasn't until several phone calls, a 2nd fax and an e-mail to the Sales Mgr that they claimed to have suddenly found the original fax. I have yet to get the car in for Service. I can only imagine what kind of nightmare I am in for with that.
