I work in West Philadelphia about 6 blocks from 69th Street, Upper Darby. The roads around the center where I work are often littered with trash and construction debris. During the week of our son's wedding on Sept. 8, one back tire had to be fixed 3 times including the morning of the wedding! Not only does Paul Menta charge only $8-10 for this, his staff uses a composite plug that has held since Sept. 8 through round trips to Richmond, VA, 25 trips to West Philly, and 4 trips to South Jersey.

small home town auto repair. honest ,dependable, reasonably priced. Actually he is usually less than what the big shops charge. The yard may be a bit messy but the guy behind the wrench is honest friendly and dependable. KNow him for like 20 years. Had many of our vehicles repaired there thru the years. He also has a real love for classic cars and often can find parts that are hard to find.

I brought my 07' Tahoe in for brake service, they were fast (less than 2 hours), fair ($275.00, $200.00 less than Midas and the Chevy dealership), and just really good guys.

I recommend this company for my friends. Now this company has new owner. He did excellent service and high quality job on car painting. I feel the former owner did not do good job but the new owner did excellent job. My car was repaired 11 years ago. The paint starts peeling off. The paint is life time warranty. The owner was changed meanwhile, so I was not expecting to get the job done. New owner, Wade, is so kind to take the paint job and did finish beautifully. He did not charge any, even it is not his responsibility. I really appreciate for his kindness. Also he gave me a ride when I dropped my car off, and delivered my car to the place I needed. I took my Volvo here because they said they were Volvo certified - they are not. Although the car was running perfectly fine, we wanted them to check out a "Check transmission next service" message. Three thousand dollars later, the message is still there and the car is stone cold dead in my driveway. They said there is nothing more they can do - and they were RUDE about it. Also, a Volvo mechanic told me that they charge at least 1 1/2 times what others charge. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

Been taking my imported car problems to Fred Sonsini off and on since the 1990s. Terrific service, high integrity, fair prices, extensive knowledge and experience. "Old school" in the best sense of the term. Highly recommend.

I am a little late with this review, but I have to get this out so no one else gets screwed over like I did. Back in July I bought a Grand Marquis from them and about 1 week later I notice that there was something wrong with the brakes. I took the car into the dealership and had the service dept take a look at my car. They replaced one brake line and said everything was good. Fast forward about 2 weeks later and my brakes give out on me while I am driving so I take it into another shop and they said the other brake lines were rusted out so bad they at car should have never been sold like that in the first place. What gets me though is how can they replace one brake line and not even tell me the other 3 were rusted out. This has showed me they don't care about the customers and only care about the all mighty dollar. Hershey motors risked me getting in an accident by not telling me about my brake lines. Which I don't understand because had they told me the other 3 needed to be replaced too. I would have had them all replaced. After all that's common sense, but Hershey motors don't have that. They just want the quick sell.
