Since then I have had three other mechanics examine the car and none of them can find any problem with the head gasket it only needed the spark plug and wire replaced and there has been no furtherproblems with my car

Before I bought the car, I had asked about service that is important to have done to the make (subaru) and was told it was done 8,000 miles previous. The car did have an oil leak, and before the warranty ran out, I requested that it be repaired. I was made to pay nearly $500 to have exactly the same repair done that I was told was done 8,000 miles ago. And it took over 2 weeks to do the repair, after I drove the car 25 miles to the garage doing the work. I was lied to, plain and simple......and went without a car for over 2 weeks, and spent a great deal of money to repair something that I was told was taken care of. Bad business practice, lying is. I will never buy a car there again. I have heard numerous stories that are very similar since. Not good people.
