I am so happy to have found Petty's Automotive! They were recommended by another shop because not everyone can or will work on a '93 Volvo 940. My wife took my truck in (I had out of state tags at the time) to repair the exhaust system. I had no other problems. The mechanic went on about how much my truck was "a piece of junk. Offer to sell us a car he had fixed up. When I got my truck back, I no have difficulty starting it, there is exhuast coming out from under the cab of the truck and I now have a leak in my transmission. None of this was happening BEFORE I took it in. This guy is either crooked or incompetent. I wont give him a second chance to prove to me which one it is.

a little over a year ago, i had this company do some work for me on my 05 kia sorento. they had my vehicle 4 different times for the same problem. they charged me over 300 dollars, the car wasn't right. so i took it back to them, this time they charged me 80.dollars, it still wasn't right. I took it back a third time, they said that their machanic had put one of the parts on backwards. Still wasn't right. took it back a 4th. when i went to pic it up they said for me to take it and see if that worked. I still had a slight shimmy in the rear end but it was better so i didn't take it back. About a month later, my husband went by there and stopped to get a bulb replaced, surely they could handle that. they wouldn't do anything for him because i was suppose to still owe them another 200 dollars on them working on my car. Well, here it is just over a yr later and guess what. the work they did was so screwed up that now i need a whole new drive shaft instead of just a simple u joint. Thanks alot machanical services.... hope this keeps some other unsuspecting person from giving you any business and you giving them the shaft...

This is by far the worst place ever!!!! Never buy a car from this place. Like the comments before me Good Guys did me the same way. Less than a week after buying the car the piece of crap starting falling apart. The people there lie and are very nasty. I hate I did business with them and they took my hard earned money. This place is a scam and all there cars are salvaged and raggedy.
