They really treat you like family!!! Fair and honest. Went out of their way to help us by providing roadside assistance and trying to get us on our way. They even let us hookup to water and power and stay in the RV at their shop while they made the repairs (and fed us supper). After we were on the road and had more mechanical breakdowns, they coached us via phone until we made it to our destination. I highly recommend this family owned business. They took a true interest in our safety and travel plans. Thank you so much to all the staff at Vickers!!

Carr's Auto is the worst! Called a day ahead of time and was told $75 for a tune-up (I had the parts already) he said it would take an hour. Sounds great right? Well this is where the story takes a turn. Take it in to them in the morning like I said, and when I get there they said they made a mistake and said it would take a little longer than they initially thought. So now he tells me $128 labor. I was annoyed but agreed on that price and left my vehicle with them to get the plugs and wires done. 5 hours later I get a call, and I'm expecting them to say it's done, but instead the guy says he told me wrong and it's going to be $328!!! Said he only quotes me for wires at $128. So I told them I will take it elsewhere since other local shops quoted me $150 and said it would not take more than 2 hours MAX!!! Complete waste of time on my vacation, avoid the headache and take it somewhere else!

Tipton's Garage provided us with excellent service!! They not only fixed my AC (and ACTUALLY fixed it) for a fair price, but they also did a quick check over to ensure vehicle safety! I would highly recommend this family-owned garage for vehicle repairs. I finally found a place that doesn't make me feel like I'm being ripped off.

Need a quality repair shop? Fred and his sons, are top shelf mechanics. I have know Fred for over 25 years, and from my point of view, I wouldn't let anyone else work on my vehicle. Prices are always disclosed upfront, and they always try to save me money on the parts costs. They have worked on my vehicles numerous times, and I have never had a bad experience. We purchased an Aztek from the owner of Neal's. He was NOT TRUTHFUL and forthcoming in all that was wrong with the car. The day after purchasing it from him, cash deal, we found out that it has MAJOR transmission problems along with some other things that add up to a lot of money. My son-in-law is in the Marines and he and my daughter were looking for a safe dependable vehicle for her and their three children. This, Neal, runs an auto garage and HAD to be aware of all the things that were wrong with the car before he sold it to them. My son-in-law and daughter live on military salary which is not much, and yet this jerk took advantage of them and their desperate need for a car. He had told them even that the car in question had been his wifes daily driver. This guy was only interested in the money. He has no conscience, or he would NOT be able to deceive people in this way. The car has been in the shop since two days after purchase, and the costs to repair are really adding up. So far well over $1,500 and counting. DO NOT TRUST this guy!!!!! I was wrong. I posted the comment on Sept. 14 about putting a hole in my oil pan. they did put the tiny hole in the pan, just not the way I said. I apologize. the plate that reinforces the drain plug hole is attached by 3 spot welds. if you tighten the plug too hard, it breaks one of the welds and puts a hole in the pan. that is what happened. I have learned that happens to often with japanese cars. you have to use a new gasket EVERY time or it leaks.

This place needs to clean it up!! We with alot of other people on this lake think it is one of the most run down marinas they have ever saw. Poorly ran as we could tell the place has all kinds of old boats that don t run and no gates. no restuarant ,no ship store with anything in it . it won t stay open long running like that

AKA Earl's Marine. They told me my outboard failed because the automatic 2 cycle oil injector stopped working. So I paid big bucks for them to rebuild it, and then the rebuild did not last the break-in period. Why? Well they told me to mix the oil in the tank, and they told me the ratio of the mix. I did as they told me to. They told me wrong, they did not take into account that break-in requires more oil. (I talked to a Mercury rep from the Mercury factory who explained this to me.) In other words they should have told me to add oil to make up for what the automatic oiler put in, PLUS the extra oil needed for the break-period. They never did make it right. They did attempt to swap a good motor (From a boat of mine) with the motor they should have just replaced or rebuilt, but they screwed that up as well. They mounted it almost 2" to low, none of the gauges worked, the dash lights stayed on causing the battery to drain, they mounted the throttle control so close to the dash that I could not go to full throttle, etc, etc. To top it all off they told me that their rebuild failed because water in the fuel washed the 2-cycle oil off the cylinders. Two problems with that. First, I have a very good oil water separator filter. Second the factory rep told if there was that much water the engine would NOT EVEN RUN. The Mercury Factory Expert Mechanic told me that their explanation was impossible. He even wanted to explain it them but they refused to call him. If you want a headache go here.

I have never in my life been so unbelievably impressed with an auto-dealer in my life. I have bought several cars in my life and have never been treated with such respect. Mark Shubert and his whole team were very courteous and did everything in their power to make sure I was well taken care or, both during the searching process and after I had purchased my vehicle. I will buy every car from them!!! You should too!!
