On July 18, 2014, GEICO paid Cardoza’s Auto Repair to replace the engine in our 2005 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor Sport. At that time Dan informed us it might be a couple week before he could get to it but he would let us know when it was ready. Also, he said the engine is rare but he found one. After three week of waiting we called to see if there was any progress and Dan said he hasn’t even picked up the engine yet and it might be one more week. I informed him that we were moving to San Antonio in one week and he promised to have the car to me before we move. We called back in one week and were informed the engine is in and running but the Check Engine light was on indicating a problem. I now had to move without my car. This is now one complete month after being paid for the job. In the estimate to GEICO Cardoza listed the labor at 10 hours. Also at this time Dan answered the phone every time we called. Another week goes by and I’m calling daily because now he won’t answer when he sees my number on his caller ID. I change my number to the 210 area code and call Cardosa, he answers. I press him for specifics and he tells me the misfire code is on cylinder #6. How is this possible, the original engine is a Supercharged 1.8L 4 cylinder? He will check on the car and call me back; no call. Now he won’t even answer my calls, text, or emails. This man dedicated an entire page on his web site spouting his ethics. There are links to Kudzu customer reviews and the Better Business Bureau where he’s not even a member. Now it’s September 5, 2014 and I don’t have my car or a clue where it is and what’s going on with it. So I have to take legal action against the man and his business to get my car back.

This is my experience just this morning. My son asked us to take his vehicle in to get two new tires on the front. He had just gotten two tires for the back. We specifically asked them to put the new tires on the front regardless of the manufacterers suggestions. We came back to get the truck, the tires are ON THE BACK!!!!!!!!! My husband called and told me that they had not done as we'd asked and said it would be around 4 hours before they could fix it. What?!! No, so I called them and a very young male answered the phone and told me I promise you not Sears, not Firestone, none of these places will put the new tires on the front. I hung up and called Firestone. A really nice guy whose name is Frank answered and I asked him this. If I brought you my car that I had already put new tires on the back and asked you to put two new tires on the front, would you do that or would you put them on the back. He said. Its your car. You want them on the front, we'll put them on the front. We can give you the manufacturer's recommendation, but ultimately it's your car and your decision... Wooooo, blown away. Good Buy Discount, Hello Firestone. I'd rather pay an extra cost for quality tires than have to deal with little boys who can't do what is asked of them.

I had been doing business with this company for years. During all these years an older gentleman and his wife owned this business and were the most friendliest and courteous people. I drove up this morning and pulled in where I had always pulled in all these years to get an oil change and a sticker. A gentleman (and I use this term loosely)who was an employee pulled up in a truck and laid on his horn and started waving very rudely for me to move. Needless to say I left and will not go back. I believe this business has been sold. He did not need to be rude. He should have gotten off the phone, left his truck and asked me to move somewhere else. I would have gladly done that. Some advice. If you were the owner, you will not have this business long unless your attitude changes, if not you better get rid of this employee before you lose your business.. Customers DO NOT want to be treated in this manner! His attitude stinks to high heaven! Do not go here unless you want to be treated like dirt!

2 weeks after I had my brand new car it was in a wreck and I made worst mistake by choosing this body shop. First, it was returned to be with scratches all over the car, so I returned it, then I get it back and this time they "detailed" my car and sprayed some nasty, old cleaning spray all over my dash into my vents, on my wheels just sprayed everywhere... on the side of the door it even looked like they spilled some. Needless, to say I complained and he said to me when I returned it that I exaggerate and that he has a sister n law like me that exaggerates as well! Wow.. the hinge where the door had to be fixed was all ugly and scratched, the door wasn't even parallel with my back door....obviously I was tired of this "business" so I took it elsewhere...ask around first..when asked where it was I was always told no wonder you don't take it to them he doesn't care anymore... DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO DANNY'S BODY SHOP!!

Avoid this place at all costs!!! Took an hour and a half to get a simple state inspection sticker. Sat in the hot hot sun while their employees stood around doing nothing, stood around and visited with one another, and when they got around to actually doing some work...they did it very SLOWLY. When my time finally came for service...TWO of their employees jumped in my car and disappeared for ten minutes. When I complained, I was told they were "training" that day. So, here we have cars lined up back to the curb waiting to be serviced, and they are taking the time to "train". No wait...the guy that just pulled up behind me gets waved in and serviced with no wait. Seems the service you get here depends on who you are. If you value your time, if you value good "customer service", if you value a business that respects its customers....avoid Great Texas Oil Change. The only thing 'great' about this place is the word in its name.

Went in to get a oil change and fuel filter change for my diesel. The oil change was fine as far as I can tell. But the fuel filter change was botched because they used some cheap fuel filter. The truck has a sensor that tells how much life is left in the fuel filter. Before I got 300 miles down the road the sensor was telling me to change the fuel filter. I change these filters most often before the sensors tell me to and this was the first time I have seen this happen. So if I ever use them again I will take my own filter and not use theirs.

Although the simple repair they did on my car was OK, I strongly believe they took advantage of me and my emergency situation and overcharged me. I cracked my bottom oil pan and they charged me $390 for parts and labor, no choice but could have been cheaper anywhere else.

The beginning of October 2012, I called David to arrange to bring my mounting machine from San Angelo to him in Odessa for repair..(260 mile round trip) After a week I called him to check the status of the repair. He said it would be 3 weeks before he could look at it as he was in the middle of a "big Project". I called 3 weeks later and he hadn't been able to look at it yet. I just called him again(1-16-13), and 3 months later, he still hasn't look at my machine. Now I must drive the round trip to get my machine that still hasn't been repaired. All the while I've been paying someone else to mount my tires. This guy is a joke. I'll never contact him again.
