Auto repair service near Shenandoah, TX

This shop is small, but they were very professional. I was told from the dealer i had several oil leaks and it would cost 2,300 dollars to fix my BMW. I heard about hi tech from a friend and they took care of me. They offered to clean off the oil first, and run the engine to verify if i had more than one leak. I didn't! It turns out i had one leak and they fixed it for less than half that. They were honest and up front about everything they told me. There are alot of rip off shops out there. Had an electrical issue that has been diagnosed by multiple shops previously, including the dealership - they all wanted over a thousand dollars to replace a 'module that went bad' which was causing my windows not to work properly and my doors to not close themselves. The technician here pulled my car in and showed me that the fault with my Mercedes S550 wasn't in fact a bad module, but a module that needed to be reprogrammed/recalibrated. They took care of the problem while I watched, and didn't even charge me anything - they just told me to be sure and leave them a review online! So here I am! I'll definitely be back anytime my car or any of my family's cars need any work done! Thanks IDB!

Chris did what he said he would do. He came to my car, he was on-time and polite. He told me my options and explained his troubleshooting methodology. We decided to go with just battery cables and new connectors. Could I have done this myself for much cheaper? Most likely. But I don't know a thing about cars and don't have tools, rags, time, energy and all that other stuff that one might need to do that. He even gave me some tips in case my starter were to ever go bad and some signs to listen for to possibly differentiate a bad starter from a loose connection. Will I use him again if my car won't start? For sure. Do I recommend him? Absolutely.

MR.A.J. WAS THE BEST,FAIR,REASONABLE,EVEN THOUGH HE WAS CLOSING IN 30 MINUTES, HE STAYED OPEN TO DO THE INSTALLATION FOR ME. After exhausting our local options we put the discovery 1 on a trailer and took it here. Most reviews were good so we thought we were lucky to find one only 5 hours away. We were mistaken. Maybe for maintenance work they would be ok, but to actually diagnose and fix the problem, I would never recommend them. The first time they had it for 2 weeks and $1100 later we had a tuneup, an ignition coil, new ground wire and spark plugs.... and a vehicle that still couldn't make it out of the parking lot. So keys in overnight slot again and it stayed for another 2 weeks. Both times my husband was told it was running well and they had been driving it around. Amazingly after one month and all the "driving" they did, we had 2 miles put on the truck and it still wouldn't get out of the parking lot. All of the things we had already replaced they replaced again... (ignition coil, oxygen sensor...) and wanted to keep it longer since they thought it was the mass air flow (had 2 sitting in the truck since we already went that route) and kept telling my husband the catalytic converters were blocked (3 months old... and would blow leaves across a parking lot). 2 days after trailering it home (another 5 hour trip there and 5 hours back) my husband talked online to a landrover owner who had similar issues. After checking the crankshaft sensor (as suggested) he discovered the 2 wires to/from the sensor were melted together. After fixing that problem it still "missed". So he went to look at the crank position ring and discovered a tine bent over. Because of this the sensor couldn't see it and was missing. After gently bumping the tine back up into place the sensor saw it and the missing stopped. It is running smoothly and perfectly. Now he just has to figure out why, after they rewired it, the front windows wont roll up or down, and the front sunroof won't either. I am not saying these people didnt want to fix it, I am saying that they should admit when they don't know and quit being parts replacers instead of mechanics. Also their master mechanic never seemed to be around, which makes me wonder if he was would it actually have gotten fixed. If you need a tune up, then this really doesn't apply to you but if you need a problem diagnosed you might want to think before sending it here. $2000 later and still not running any different when you pick it up, you have to ask if it is really worth it.

My vehicle had misfire code, I took it in they repaired it and it was fine for a while but then I had the same issue just over a week ago I took it back they said it was a faulty coil. They warranted the work but, the check engine light is on again and it’s the same issue!!! This place was recommended to me so that’s why I went but I live about 45 min away and I’m afraid my vehicle will not make it.

I really wish someone would close these jerks down. SCAMMERS CON-ARTS, CROOKS, SWINDLERS. In-human idiots that lie lie lie and steal your money. They fix nothing. I brought my car there and paid an arm and leg for them to fix my car and nothing but made it worse. Anyone that reads these reviews and brings there car to them Please call the police immediately. IMMEDIATELY. I wish the police would pay attention to these reviews, go there and shut them down and arrest these thief's. They have a post on Craig's list so beware. Oh that review that someone said their $600 dollar radio was stolen. It wasn't stolen they so called mechanics stole it and lied.

**SORRY RAN OUT OF SPACE** .....and about 9 additional visits to the shop, I had to take keep taking my car back and each time they would say it’s a new issue, and charge me more MONEY!! The last time I took it there I said the EXACT “jumping” is still occurring from the very 1st time I brought it to you guys; I gave you guys so much MONEY and you haven’t repaired my car. I was treated with aggression and THREATS!! I am so upset and distraught about losing all my savings to these guys that just LIED, took my money and NEVER repaired my car. NOW I am out so much MONEY, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY!! GOD BLESS!!

Was sent to this shop by Discount Tires to repair a stud they broke on my van. This shop is horrible, they lack in Customer Service and gave me the run around and never fixed the van. Discount Tires was notifed and they are currently looking for a new vendor.

Horrible Service. These boys don't know what there doing. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE. They took my money but did not provide the service stated on the invoice. Had to get new brakes and rotors within 3 months of them putting new brakes and Rotors on, really really!!! Better Business Bureau gives this Meineke location an "F" rating . Sad but true they are not to be trusted. This business is not BBB accredited.

11-18 -19 My car over heated. Stan, who is a lair and a cheat, told me it was a thermostat. So I greed to have them fix it. Then Stan called claiming the water pump was bad and it is easier to replace the timing belt at this time so I agreed. While they changed the timing belt they mistimed the engine and destroyed it. They bought a replacement engine a “ salvaged” long block. No telling how many mile is on it! I asked that they put the parts I paid for on the salvaged engine. Almost ONE month later, 12-16-19 after repeated calls made by me I was able to pick up my car. I presented the rental car bill and Stan, who is a lair and a cheat said the owner will send me a check, but my car broke after 10 minutes of driving. They tried to claimed it was the exhaust not the engine but eventually cleared the problem. I asked Stan who is a lair and a cheat, if the new parts are on my car and he said no, but I’m going to warranty it for 3yrs 36k miles prorated. Next morning the engine light came on so I took it to the dealer it was there for 3 days while repairing the wiring and sensors that weren’t wired correctly and install missing bolts on the engine! To date my car has still overheated 2X I have exhaust fumes in the cab and most importantly I have not been reimbursed for the rental car and don’t have the parts I paid for.

I have owned three Hyundai cars, all have been new cars under warranty. I have only had to taken them in for mechanical issues less than ten times. I have never been told by a Hyundai service department that if they find that the problem is not a warranty issue, like a rat chewing through a wire, or hitting a curb and knocking something loose, that I will be responsible for paying over $100 for them taking time to look at my car, whether they fix the issue or not. I can understand the cost of fixing the issue, but not the cost of just looking at it. I can understand if I was bring in a 2001 Toyota. But I am bringing in a Hyundai to a Hyundai dealership while under warranty, It is implied that while under warranty the dealership for that brand of car will check your car when it has mechanical issues for free, and if it isn't a warranty issue charge you for the repairs. I mean they sure do talk up how good having a warranty is when they talk you into buying that 10 year 100,00 mile extended bumper to bumper warranty, but if you want to get it looked at, you better bring $200, just in case the problem isn't under warranty. Because whether they fix it or not your paying. This was my experience at North Freeway Hyundai in Houston TX. The service consultant Bruce Haefner, didn't even test drive my car to see if he felt what I was feeling, until he first told me that just to look at my car, I basically need to have the money to pay, just in case it isn't a warranty issue.

This was a very unacceptable experience today, Sunday Dec. 15, 2013. My boyfriend dropped off his car here to get a brakejob, and someone took him home since it would be an all day job. The person told him he would pick him up when complete. I came by to simply get an oil change they said would take an hour. I searched for others on 1960, but there were none so I returned and was told 45 minutes this time. So I entered the waiting room and a fellow was talking on the phone at noon saying he'd been there since 9 for an oil change. I looked in the repair area and saw 2 teenage boys in their shorts and one slightly older guy in long pants being the only workers. I went to the desk and told them that after 45 mins. I would get my key and leave whether or not they had started. They completed mine but failed to turn off the maintenance reqd light. Later around 5:30, as I was going to my last tango practice of the year, my boyfriend called to come all the way to Cypress to pick him up since they never answered the phone to do so. About half way he called and said someone was on the way. Then called again saying he had to find a ride with a neighbor because no one showed after he waited for 30 mins outside his house in the cold weather. VERY unprofessional, not answering their workphone or following thru on the pickup. This ruined both our evenings!! Susan Young

This place is a piece of crap. They sold me a car that was messed up from day one. Now the car doesn't even start and I have to pay them for two more years. I asked them if they would help fix the car but they gave me some bull saying the company was bought out so itusnt owned by fincher motor anymore. What kind of crap is that?
