Auto repair service near Port Angeles, WA

I needed a new muffler for my Honda Accord and also a catalytic converter. I was at the shop once before. Oh what a dump; dark, dirty, and car parts scattered everywhere! Against my better judgement, needing the exhaust system fixed immediately, I went back. And oh what a change it was this time!! I found new owners; the shop and the office were clean. They lowered the prices and using modern diagnostic equipment got me out the door quickly and efficiently. The owner/mechanic showed me the messed up parts and also let me see the finished work. I was very pleased. He also pointed out to me a likely future problem with engine oil leak. I didn t have time for it right then, but already made an appointment with them to have that repaired. I am very please to have this service place available so close to where I live.

This guy (Steve the owner) is very condescending and offensive. I could overlook this if he was knowledgeable. Unfortunately he was wrong about almost everything. He said that my brakes were obsolete and that they had not been manufactured in years (I'd just done a conversion at another shop 6 mo's earlier). He told me that I could not take the boat down to the launch to get the weight off the trailer because the axle would bottom out. He was wrong...I towed it and launched the boat. Then, I pulled the trailer to a qualified mechanic. His only logic for why I should pay him $1400 to bolt parts to this trailer was that my boat is very expensive and so I could afford it. Apparenly he wasn't aware of the fact I have a nice boat because I don't let people who don't want to work for their money try to rip me off or free load. He missed his guess on just how "stranded" I was. Did I mention he's a rude jerk?

Misdiagnosed the problem. Unprofessional costumer services. Stated not caring about customers and staying in business. Refunded payment. Would not recommend going there.
