Auto repair service near Beaumont, CA

Should have read the Reviews First on What A Deal. February 2015 walked in to purchase a Chevy S10 Pick Up and Kelly approved financing with $1500 down. After signing the contract with Michelle she advised would have to rewrite the contract when the bank finalizes the interest, so I didn't get a copy but did get a receipt from Kelly for the down payment. Well the motor gave up 3 days prior to the 30 day warranty. Kelly said he would take care of it by installing another motor. Well its been over a month, and I have not been able to contact anyone... left various messages and emails. Been going by on a daily basis and found him there today 3/21/15 12:30pm. He told me to get off his property because it was closed and he was calling the police... He stated business went wrong and is moving has no money to return the down payment or fix the truck. Would like to gather everyone that has had the bad experience with What A Deal (current and past google reviews) to file the complaint with the bar to help others not to fall in this situation and prevent the approval to do business elsewhere.

Dave was awesome from the very first time we called, all the way to the final day of completion. He is the best! Dave is very honest, trustworthy and a man of his word. His shop is very clean and hard working. They are so good, it's like a NASCAR Pitcrew handle your vehicle's needs. They take pride in their work and make you feel great and relieved to put your vehicle in such expert hands. Zach the mechanic was amazing and professional. He met with my Dad and brother and showed them the old engine and was very courteous and professional. It was an all around Amazing experience! Canyon Lake Auto is the best shop around, period. Excellent and friendly customer service and professionalism guaranteed! Quickly diagnosed and repaired my vehicle in a very timely manner from start to finish. I am very happy with the investment and will continue to use Canyon Lake Auto for any future repairs. This facility has the most economical, fast and friendly service in town. I have been a customer for several years and will continue to be until they are no longer in business. I have never had any trouble with the services that have been provided. Will recommend this facility to anyone!

First let me say the African american manager I assume never greeted me. We had new tires and two alignments done and less then 6 months later the tire was half bald which obviously indicates the alignment was not done properly. As soon as my husband begin to question and ask about next steps we were immediately told to read our contract and we were basically "dumb" for thinking that should be pointed out. The manager said come back later and I'll do the rotation although you didn't read the contract over and over in an extremely patronizing manner. I have an 08 ml350 in good condition so if the work had been done right we would not need new tires less then 6 months later. More then that this gentleman is basically "yelling" at my husband as if he is not intelligent. My husband is an accountant of high intellect I then informed him not to contract me because we own a business and are aware of how contracts works. At the end of the day we do what is right for the customer not in a manner that demeans or patronized them. He begin to yell louder mock me say " I'm not dealing with you I assume because he did not want to be corrected by a women. This man was extremely unprofessional condescending. Funny thing is when the caucasian women went to get her car he placed her keys in her hands warmly and said have a beautiful holiday. But I did not even get a how are you today. Being in management for 17 years I have never personally experienced reverse racism. Guess there is a first time for everything. Please stay away from this place. If you can't please read your contract and you will be better served if your non black. Good luck and choose wisely.

Terrible, terrible service. They will lie to you and then stiff you with additional charges. I'm not a competitor, I WAS a cusomter. Run away from these people as fast as you can because you cannot believe them on anythng they quote.

Very poor business practices, they do not protect your property and when something happens they do not want to take any responsibility for the damage. I took my truck in to them, due to a bad transmission. They told me it would need a new rebuilt transmission and it would cost $ 2700.00 to do it. I told them I did not have the money and it would be a few weeks before I had the money. They told me that was ok, I could leave it there they would do the work and then I could pick it back up when I had the money. They told me they had plenty of room to keep the truck there rather than bring it back when I had the money to do the work. While my truck was there it got damaged, someone hit the rear driver fender and damaged the fiberglass fender. I picked up the truck and drove it to Riverside, and that evening I noticed the damage. The first thing the next morning I took it back to them he said that they would review there cameras to see how and when the damage occurred. I waited almost a week and they never got back to me to let me know what they found. I went in to see about the damage and he said that the cameras did not show anything. Rather than calling me to let me know he just figured I would go away. I am very disappointed in there actions. This not only makes me mad, but he has also lost additional work as I have another truck that needs a transmission and they will never get that work as A result of all the hassle they have put me through. If you are going to take your vehicle to them be forewarned they do not car it they damage your vehicle. Very poor business practices..... I am telling everybody to go elsewhere to have there vehicles repaired. As this is a transmission most of the time you will have to leave your vehicle there a days at a time and a lot can and does happen there.

Always warm and friendly, excellent service. Like the new outside seating area, for waiting if necessary.

LOVE Nobert's Auto Service! Nolbert himself owns and runs the place! VERY VERY....did I say VERY HONEST! GREAT friendly service....They get the job done right......The price is so fair.....and DID I say HONEST? LOL Highly recommend! I drive almost an hour to have my car serviced here! Been going for years and a lot of my family and friends now go too!

We used to have a family friend fix all of our vehicles but when he moved out of state his brother didn't do much for us. So we started to see Paul at American Tire Depot on Magnolia and he and his team really took great care of our vehicles. Thankfully Paul just recently came back here and I don't think I would ever take a car anywhere else. Chris Zmolek

NO NOT USE WOODCREST AUTO. Dropped 2004 Dodge Dakota with clicking noise. After $250 in labor just to diagnose it they said it was a guide to the timing chain. Here comes the scam! So a timing chain now turns out I need to replace three, I found a kit with everything I need for $400 but they of course broke it up individually and charged accordingly. The three chains from them was $448 which after doing research I didn't need to replace chains but they made me think I did. It was a bad guide which came in a kit but they charges me 3 individual guides even though only one was bad, another $200. Recommended replacing the oil pump that didn't need replacement for $250 which the most expensive I found was $139. They said I needed valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, oil, coolant, etc. What I thought mentioned over the phone was $1100-$1200 was $2200+ so over $1000 profit! The same name used in positive feedback (Marc) is 100% staged! 100% scam artists! Could have bought a new engine for that amount!

Went to get my A /C recharged. The guy tells me that it's holding pressure, but two valves are leaking. (What?). Tell's me my cabin filter is totally clogged. ( Just changed it two months ago, checked in parking lot after they were done, it wasn't ) $330 later, he tells me it is working fine now and is 32 degrees colder, but I won't notice today because it's not that warm out. I was watching these guys working on my car, when they were supposedly working, and I really don't think they did a thing. I would not take any vehicle here again, in fact I would like to take them to small claims court. They are committing fraud in my opinion. BEWARE!!!
